The pound a peg is very poorly made. You would expect a child’s product to be well made and carefully crafted, however, I make sure to inspect wooden toys for potential splinters before placing it in my child’s hands. I realized the wood was not fully finished, missing a piece of wood, and visibly had lifted splinters of wood. I’m very disappointed in the poor craftsmanship and quite offended that this company would think this would be appropriate for a child’s hands.

Bought this for the hammer and pegs toy. The price was so good and the sorting toy was like a bonus. My grandson really likes playing with these. He is already learning how to put the sorting pieces on and off and he is only 13 months old. Very nicely made. Great value purchase from Target.

Both of these pieces are very well made. The colors are fun and vibrant. The wooden pegs move easily through the holes with the hit of the included hammer. The wooden hammer is light weight and easy for my toddlers to hold.
