This toy is very durable and the person who bought it for her two year old obviously doesn't know how to follow age recomendations which clearly state three and up. We bought this for my five year old's birthday. She's having a great time using it to solve simple addition and subtraction problems. My two year old loves just sliding the beads around. It is much sturdier than others I looked at when we were shopping.see moreof the reviewer's review

I liked this Abacus over all others offered on the Internet because, first it is of wood and secondly built very solid. It won't tip over easily when my little grand daughter plays with it. She is too young too count but likes to push the little colored balls back and forth. I recommend this Abacus.
