Q: Just out of curiosity, what are the green and blue animals? Blue is most likely a rabbit, but I don't have a great guess for the green. Yellow is the bear, so that's not it.

Well I have not been able to get my daughter to bowl regardless of how she holds the ball. However she loves these bowling pins. She plays with them just like she would play with stuffed toys. She put them to bed tucks them in and enjoys imaginary play. I admittedly gave up on the bowling -we had a handful of decent games. My husband and I rarely ever bowl. Still this is one of our greatest purchases. My daughter turned 3 a few months ago — And she doesn't play with them so much anymore but they were used a lot for a good year. The fact that she does not play with them so much right now is probably because I got set up for finding them on the floor and I kept putting them away. But in hindsight I really do cherish these times where my daughter will care for a little bowling pin w such affection. There's something about the faces that just really speaks to her. They are very cute!

We purchased this product and it has a nauseating chemical odor. We tried to let it off gas for a while but it has been several weeks and the smell it has not lessened. The smell transfers to your skin when you touch the set. It is unclear what sort of chemicals were used that could produce such a strong and lasting sickly odor but they may be unsafe for children - particularly younger children who may lick these toys.

Lots of fun. Good for learning colors and eye hand coordination. Our 2 and 4 year olds share by sitting across from each other with three pins each and rolling the ball back and forth. Nice storage package.
