The Pink Piano stands apart from many other toy pianos in its similarity to full-size pianos. The shape of the piano is very similar to that of a full-size upright, giving children the sense that they are learning just like the grown-ups. The pink color gives a vibrant, yet delicate, look to this toy. The keys play true notes, just like a real piano, and children will begin to understand the way those keys feel under their little fingers. While learning to strike the keys-first to make sounds and later to make songs-children start to master their fine motor skills as they exercise each and every finger. The Pink Piano holds two full octaves of keys so children can experiment over a wide range of pitch. There is also a multicolored guide along the keys that labels each key with its corresponding note. This key guide corresponds with the included Songbook for the Beginning Musician, teaching children to learn such well-known songs as 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' and 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star' with ease. This piano promotes creative musical expression, as well as fine motor skills. Whatever the style of music, it will always sound lovely when played by a young child on this pink piano.

I see many reviews with people seemingly expecting the sound of a full piano. It's a toy. A great toy. Your child can still learn basics of playing piano on this toy. The color coded keys and songbook are huge assets. Take advantage of this cool piano, remember it's a toy.see moreof the reviewer's review

I didn't expect a professional style piano but I figured it would work properly. My 16 month old doesn't know the difference and loves it but it annoyed me when I tried to play and the keys got stuck.see moreof the reviewer's review
