Q: Is the paint already on the image, waiting to magically appear when it gets wet? Or do you need to use the provided palette to transfer paint to the image?

Nowhere near enough paint. The color barely shows up. Frustrating for a child to use. This is not the quality we’ve known from Melissa & Doug products.

These did NOt work well at all! Too little water and can’t even see the paint… too much and the brush destroys the paper paint square. Not up to Melissa and Doug quality at all! Wish I would have stuck with regular paint with water book.
