Meltzer's Puremints DGL Licorice

The disc is small and like a mint lozenge, that dissolves fast. Hubby said they were too strong at first, but since they dissolved quickly, he changed his mind, and likes them very much. I had to spit mine out before it had dissolved completely, but they do taste good, just strong!

These are so delicious! They taste very much of black licorice and are mint sized.

Love them! No added sugar, too. Licorice root, according to studies done, is as effective for ulcers as any medication, as well as for general digestive comfort.

The taste of licorice that I grew up with as a kid in Germany. If you're looking for the taste you find in the licorice found in your supermarket candy aisle, you may want to rethink buying these. They are for those of us that like the taste of licorice, not sugar with a hint of licorice.

We love these mints! I don't know if they work as a digestive aid, but we do usually enjoy them after dinner. I was a Sen-Sen fan from the time I was a kid was so disappointed when they were no longer available. These don't taste like Sen-Sen, but they are similar enough to satisfy me. My husband is on board, too.

Purchased for my husband. Can't tell if it helps, but can't tell that it hurts. He certainly likes the taste.

For some reason, licorice mints are hard to find. These are really good.

These help me so much. I get congestion from my sinus and makes me cough. These mints really help soothe the cough reflex and the best thing is they seem to loosen the congestion and it clears up my throat and asophagus. I ordered 6 tins when yhey had a sale, cant be without them.

I have to start by saying that I do not like licorice. I hate the smell and the taste and it makes me gag a little. I bought this because I heard that licorice was good for the stomach and digestion. I really need help in that area so I bought these to try and get use to the licorice. This still has the smell but I try not to smell it and the smell is contained pretty well. I really like the ingredients in this. All good considering my distaste. I have found these to be rather pleasant. I hold my breath and put one in my mouth really fast and don't move my tongue around very much and then I can tolerate it. I've had very minimal almost gag feeling that lasted but a second. I think I'm getting use to these because then I want another one when it is done. I don't think to take it all the time to tell if it is helping my digestive problems. Mostly I have been focused on if I could eat it at all. I really think the peppermint helps and the other herbs with the flavor. I would buy this again when I run out. I have found it to be surprisingly pleasant overall. I don't think I will buy other licorice candy but I will buy this.

My husband has made multiple purchases of these mints. He feels better while using them, plus it improves his breath. He's never without them and that says a lot since he's not a vitamin/supplement user.

I you like licorice and you like mints, you will love these... nice alternative to tic-tacs, etc.

I had been purchasing regular DGL with peppermint but, when I tried the Puremints DGL, I was sold. I will never be without them. The flavor is wonderful.
