Q: I ordered these shirts in different colors, but they are wildly different with sizing? Some colors are longer/looser with 92%/8% poly-spandex. Others are 88%/12% and tighter. Can you confirm why?

The different content should only be seen in the heather gray (88/12), this is how the heather pattern is created. All other colors will be 92/8 content. Q: What's the difference between this and the Soft Stretch shirt? It seems like it doens't have UPF protection but does have ventilation. Does this mean it's thinner? Am I missing anything else?

  • A: Hi Andrew! - There are a few distinct differences in these shirts. First being fabric weight, the Performance tee is a thinner fabric. Which does make it cooler for workouts. Second are some design details: the hem is straighter with a split for ease of movement and so it doesn’t hug tight on the hips, flat seams for a chafe free experience. Third is sun protection, this tee is not rated where the Soft Stretch offers UPF 50+. Otherwise fit is generally the same, both are odor resistant, have stretch, moisture wicking and quick dry. The ventilation is not a correct statement, thank you for pointing that out.     When I first tried the Target All in Motion brand t-shirts I was amazed. They felt and looked great. I bought a second round of t-shirts a few years later and they are different. Fabric feels different, seams are weird and cause bumpy shapes, and the shape and fit looks different on my body. Target should have kept the manufacturers they started with.
