Formulated products are formulated without select chemicals of concern in the following chemical groups: phthalates, propyl- & butyl-parabens, formaldehyde donors, musks, nonylphenol ethoxylates ethanolamines, glycol ethers, siloxanes, and perfluorinated substances (PFAS). I was looking for a more earth and human friendly laundry detergent compared to other major brands and have been using this for 2 years. I wash clothes in cold and haven't had any issues with any residues or the pack getting stuck. I use a front load machine and always do an extra rinse. I will say though that if the load is light, it feels like the deteregent has fully washed out. But i just make sure the pod to load ratio is decent. i used the free and clear verison.

Tried these for the first time; 3 loads. Even in warm or hot water, the pods don't fully dissolve & leave a hard goo like chewing gum stuck to my garments. Every time. These are CRAP. I'm going back to liquid detergent.

By unscented they actually mean Unscented. My clothes smell like nothing - just clean clothes and that’s exactly what I was looking for. It removes stains and odor really well too.

The pods don't dissolve, even with extra wash/rinse cycles. Leaves gunk all over clothes. Definitely would not buy again. I like other method products, and wish they would bring back their old free and clear detergent!

I had never used a detergent pack before and I will honestly never go back! These are super easy and no chance of over adding detergent. The aroma was not overpowering and I didn't really notice it until I started using the dryer sheets with the detergent. The only complaint I have is PURE human error. It took me a little while to figure out how to open the bag. There are nice directions on the back. You just have to look. It is actually a really nice seal!
