A: Sorry, but this particular comforter is not dust or allergy resistant--however it's machine washable which is a 'big plus' in keeping dust to a minimum.

Q: One description says dry clean and one says machine wash. Which one is correct? Is this full enough to use as a duvet insert?

A: The tag says "machine wash cold, tumble dry low". Then it says "Preferred method - Dry Clean".
submitted byNo name - 4 years agoA: I have washed it multiple times by itself and very low detergent and it is fine. Drying with no heat. It should be ok to use as duvet insert however, I have mine on the top of my bed.

A: Dear Customer This Colorful Microfiber Down Alternative Comforter is not designed to use with a Duvet, therefore It doesn't have ties. Usually, Down Alternative comforters are machine washable, therefore, Duvets are not necessary. In addition, the color will add an extra touch on the deco on your room. Hope it helps,

After the first time I washed it, the cotton in the individual "squares" all bunched together. It looks very clumpy. I tried really hard to salvage it, but it was ruined after the one wash. I continued to use it and have washed it a few more times (hoping it would magically get fixed), but it just got worse and worse. I do not recommend!

It is big (King) and warm, but it is definitely NOT purple. When it arrived, I thought it may just be the lighting, so I opened it and put it on the bed with my purple stuff, and am so disappointed that it isn't even close. If the cats hadn't pushed thru and immediately jumped on it and gotten hair all over it, I'd return it. Very disappointed.

I think the sale price is fitting for this King comforter but anything over $25.00 is not. It is soft but very thin. The stitching is very iffy too. The comforter also runs small/Queen. I do like the color Platinum, however. Very nice! I'm essentially just using the comforter for extra bed padding or an additional cover at bedtime.

the color is not even close to being what's in the photo. I should have listened to the reviews. this is not sage at all. more like pale dried white sage used in smudging sticks. the photo shows a more fresh and earthy toned green :(
