Q: How do you thaw the milk? Is there a warmer?

A: Hi there - the Freeze does not include a warmer. Rather it's a “first in, first out” breast milk storage system that fits in your freezer to keep the bags of frozen breast milk organized! Once you collect the breast milk in a standard milk storage bag, you can then place the bag on the metal quick-freeze tray at the top of the Freeze. Once the milk is frozen, slip the bag into the Freeze through the slot at the top, and the bag will fall to the bottom of the storage container. When you need to thaw a bag of breast milk to feed to your little one, pull a bag out from the bottom of the Freeze. Hope this helps!

Q: how long and tall is it. my freezer is small. i also use bags that dont change size when they lay flat, even if you put less milk. unless its like 2 oz.. which bags do u recommend

I ended up turning this on it’s back, taking the front cover off and using it in a more traditional bin-style fashion. Sometimes you’re looking for a smaller or larger bag of milk and I just found it difficult to get to more than the few bags at the bottom when I was using it as intended. Plus my husband tore a bag of milk trying to muscle one out in a rush *eye-roll.* May work better for you if you consistently freeze the same amount in all your bags. Really like the metal plate to freeze the bags on though. Overall a good quality product, a good size, and a good idea. Just a little pricy maybe.

This is a great idea in theory but if you're working with a larger stash than a day or two's worth of milk this won't be big enough to make the "first in, first out" concept work. I'd need to keep refilling it with milk from a month ago to to use the oldest first, which defeats the purpose of just freezing it on top and then sticking it in the slot. IT becomes an extra thing that is no longer convenient at all. Also, the metal freezing surface works but there are better options out there that freeze milk bags flat on top AND on the bottom. For someone who only freezes milk a day or two ahead before using it (as opposed to having a stash of several days or more) this could work very well.

This is a wonderful product. The tray on top makes it possible to freeze the milk completely flat so the storage dispenser works flawlessly. My wife loves it and wants another one. The only thing I would change is to make the product slightly shorter to fit in any freezer. Overall this is an absolutely wonderful idea and glad I purchased it. Would recommend to everyone looking to solve your breast milk storage problems.

This was given to me as a gift and I loved it. I used it with Lansinoh bags no problem and appreciated the metal flat surface for freezing my bags flat. The whole container wasn't large enough to hold all of the bags that I collected, but after it was full I moved them into large freezer bags since they were already flat. I haven't seen another other freezing system like it and am happy that it was given to me.

Received this today in the mail and disappointed with the stainless piece on top on staying on the top. It seems overpriced for what it really is. Not to mention, this isn’t as great if you have a drawer freezer, and not a side door freezer. I’m hoping this will do the job of keeping the bags protected and freezing them laying flat.
