I really did not like the Matte Pore Refining Primer by Mineral Fusion. The smell is extremely strong, and unfortunately, you can still feel it lingering on your skin after applying. The texture was the biggest issue for me—it felt greasy and heavy, almost like applying straight-up oil or fat. It definitely didn’t leave my skin matte, as promised. Overall, it just felt really unpleasant on my skin and didn’t perform the way I hoped. Gifted by mineralfusion

This is nice!! For me this is best for the hot summer days where I’m sweating and getting oily because I have dry skin and need a little shine usually but not as much as the 90 degree days outside! But it did not dry my skin out! It kept my skin tint looking natural all day!! Complimentary from mineralfusion

I have oily skin and use this primer daily before applying my foundation. Smooth and matte finish, feels light and clean on my skin. I recommend.

I was directed by the Mineral Fusion chat team to use this product when I asked why I could not find my long-time favorite Mattifying Primer anymore. However, this Pore-Refining primer is NOTHING like that item. It is so thick it feels like glue. Doesn't apply at all like the silky, smooth prior product. And the smell of this new item is terrible...it smells like the plastic it is packaged in. I could smell it long after application, throughout the day. Seems like a cheap drug-store primer. Very disappointed by this move away from glass and an inferior product and will have to move to some other brand.

I have had to look for an alternative to this product because the new formula is terrible. I find it irritating, and it smells terrible. Please bring back the old formula... it was the best primer I had ever used.

It works nicely as a primer and feels great going on the skin. I am 51 and have normal to dry skin. I will buy this again probably.

I love the easy to apply consistency and matte look of this product, great for summer and winter. I have dry and sensitive skin. It’s the only product I have found that protects my skin while skiing in sunny, windy and changing conditions in high altitude. I used to get red scaly wind burns on my face after skiing, but no more after using this amazing product. Still have dry skin by default, but visibly less than before. Thank you :)

This one I'm not sure about yet. It fills in pores and makeup glides on over it. The down side is that if you blow your nose or even touch your face your makeup will smudge. Also, it requires some scrubbing to feel like it's completely washed off.

Goes on with ease and truly does minimize pores. Gentle on the skin as well.

I was hoping I would like this product as much as the Mineral Fusion Mattifying Primer, but this primer makes my face smell like something burned in an auto repair shop! So disappointed!

The first 2 times I used it, it came out a more lotion type consistency. The third and every time since, it's an oily/water consistency coming out. Is that how it's supposed to be?
