Q: How much compost can it hold or make ?I know in general it depends on what you put inside ,just trying figure out how fast it will break down too

First this is not a Miracle Gro composter. It is a D.F.Omer. The instruction booklet is confusing. It doesn’t snap together like it is supposed to but it does work.

I have been composting for a while and wanted something that is better than a flimsy container. This is definitely better. It says it can hold 6.5 cubic feet of compost though I don't think I'd let it fill that much. If you have a big area to fill, I'd suggest getting the double tumbler. It is sturdy but I'd be nervous that the weight would make it unable to turn. It was very easy to put together. The parts that made me nervous were the clips since you stretch them to connect the pieces. I did have a minor crack as another reviewer had but it doesn't hinder the integrity of the product. Honestly, that crack helped me better understand the instructions, as it asks you to snap the pieces on so it's flush. That part was harder (a rubber mallot may help) but I was able to put it together in 30 minutes without rushing and while watching tv. In all, I'm satisfied and would recommend this product.

The plastic for this tumbler appears to be fairly flimsy. One or the wheels cracked in shipment.

This composter is a medium size composter that came flat packed. I have been happy with it overall the the price & quality. The sliding door to open & close is not as user friendly as I would like but otherwise a great container to finally start composting!
