A: Hello Horizontal - Because of the orientation of the keyhole slots on the back, the hanging hardware only allows the product to hang vertically. It’s not recommended to try and hang the product any other way. - Simonne

Bought this item a while back and have only now gotten around to hanging it. Unfortunately it came without the wire basket, which was my main reason for purchasing. Should have known something was wromg6 when the boxed looked tampered with in store, but I thought nothing of it think the basket was below the shelves. Now I have to search for a possible basket replacement that will fit.

This is a pretty cute way to organize my studio. Unfortunately, one of the sets I ordered is missing the pegs for the pegboard. So it’s essentially just a board. I will have to return it to get the pegs. Also, the pegs they give you are loose and I had to poke the pegs all over until I found hole that fit it snugly. I’m only returning because I made the holes in my wall and took all the time to hang them. If I could go back I’d spend more on a better quality set. It’s inconvenient because I didn’t realize they were missing until I hung them up. The other set came with the pegs but one of the shelves was damaged. I have attached pictures of the damaged shelf. I’m disappointed that this poor quality board is so expensive given the quality of the items.

Good/decent quality for the price. The peg board holes are not the easiest things to put the actual pegs into. They are stiff, but once you get them in, you know they’re secure! Pillow Fort products are great, and not just for kids. We used this peg board for our two dog’s stuff. Great storage solution, that’s aesthetically pleasing.

I must have gotten lucky to get two boards that had the mounting holes lined up correctly and all the parts in the boxes. I looked into buying all the parts from a hardware store and with the boards, hardware, and accessories I would need, these were actually more economical. The shelves are not going to hold a lot of weight, so don't count on that, but they're perfect for lighter decorative items. If you need more pegs, you could definitely get away with cutting the provided ones in half with a hacksaw or even a good bread knife. I'm thinking of trimming ours just because they stick out really far for displaying items like we did. Took away one star because the baskets took a little bending to get back into the holes in a different location from how it was packaged.

Though cute, we had to make some modifications. The wire basket had to be bent into place to lay flat. The white shelves are hard to adjust location because the wood dowels are so flimsy. 3 of the 4 dowels split and became useless. You’re probably better off building one from supplies at the home improvement store

This is a handy storage unit that I use for some of the things I want access to and don't want to have to keep opening and looking in drawers. I like the pegs especially to hang my scissors and tape. It is good quality wood, the shelves are a good size and the pegs hold light weight items. I am a crafts person - a real DIY person. The holes on the back were impossible to get to line up so I just used 2 scres straight through the board.

For an item boasting itself as a pegboard, it isn’t compatible with any other pegboard accessories that HOOK INTO the pegboard. The accessories that come with this simply SIT in the holes which I don’t consider safe or secure at all. I like the look of the front of the board, but the wood veneer should really have been added to the sides of the board as well. It looks like the cheap dark particle board it’s made out of from the sides which is a bummer. I’ll be tearing it apart to make it work for the market displays I’m making, but disappointed overall but the product as is comes out of the package. Wouldn’t really recommend it.
