Q: Can this be put in the bottle with the formula or breast milk? I know it says to just put it in their mouth but was wondering if it can also go into the bottle?

A: Hello, Our Gripe Water and all of Mommy's Bliss products have an expiration date specific to each bottle. It is usually 2 years from date of manufacturer, unopened. Please refer to your bottle for the exact expiration date, which you will find on the bottom of the box or back of the label.

We gave this to my 1 month old and she choked on it, couldn’t breath, was struggling so much. She was severely struggling to breath for like 20 mins and it was the scariest thing ever. We had to use a bulb syringe to suction it all out because she literally was turning blue. We’re all traumatized by this event! The consistency of the gripe water is so thick and the syringe is impossible to use without all of the gripe water shooting out all at once. Literally worst product ever. If I could give this zero stars, I would!!

This product worked out in the beginning for calming and settling my babies stomach but, noticed it didn’t work that long. Instead, it made my baby constipated and uncomfortable to the point he would be crying and unable to sleep as well during the night. Since it made my baby constipated, I’ve stopped giving him this gripe water and their night time one as well as, Mylicon, since that didn’t help with his gas relief either. Ended up switching out his feedings and removing this stuff and my baby is feeling much better without this stuff in his system. Please do your research on all these herbal stuff, you never know what is truly in it and it’s side effects.

We love this product and have used it on all of our kids. Little tummies have a hard time adjusting and this has always been great at helping them get expel gas. I’ve had to be on antibiotics for an infection and feel that this is helping the baby process those meds in my milk better than if she didn’t have them.

Our 3 month old has reflux (medicated), and was still waking every 2-3 hours at night to eat. She'd wake herself screaming for every gas bubble and fart. The first night we used the gripe oil she went to sleep quickly with less fuss and slept 8 hours 😮. She's done 8 hours every night since for a week except the one night I didn't give her gripe oil. We even had 2 nights where she slept 10 hours. We don't give her the full dose (we do 4ml instead of 5) and you do have to give it slowly so they don't choke or throw it up. But it's worth every penny to have a well rested baby and to finally get my sleep back!

Mix feelings about it from reading review here and outsiders commenting on it. After my baby was in so much discomfort with gas and supper fuzzy. Caved in and used it. I am not exaggerating when i say it worked instantly. I only use it when its a must for my baby and her gas. I tried Mylicon and this actually worked WAY more than Mylicon. But I’m sure results are different for all babys. Also it says to discard within six weeks of opening. I don’t use it everyday and definitely no 15 times a day so it’s such a waste of product after opening and having It for 6 weeks. But will continue purchasing it.
