I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Item: Mongoose Force 1.0 folding scooter Storage/Assmebly: The scooter was really easy to assemble. There were not many prices and parts to assemble, as it came mostly completed already. The few prices I had to assemble were very easy and straightforward with the instructions included. It is also convienevent to store due to the fold down feature. Once folded it is very compact and easy to store away into tight spaces, so it doesn’t take up much space. Stability: The scooter was stable and my eleven year old seem to really enjoy it. My four year old did have a little trouble in the beginning (as he is lighter in weight, but the box did recommend for ages 5+), however after a few minutes he was able to catch on and balance pretty well. Problems/comments: I really like the look of the scooter, the full coverage deck, and the soft foam grips on the handle. I also like the look/colors of the scooter. The main recommendation I have would be to add a kick stand to the scooter. It is very inconvenient to put against the wall and it falls sometimes. I know there is the fold down option but sometimes they just want to say it to the side and come back to it. Folding it away each time can be a nuisance, when they are coming right back to it. However, that is a minor problem and may not annoy others. Price: I think the price is okay, but I think it could be $5-$10 cheaper. I think $19.99-$23.99 is a fair/decent price for this model.
I received this scooter as a free sample in exchange for my review. It`s a great scooter. Every kid in the family likes to play with it. The flashing lights are super fun and really helpful for when we go out in the evening. Its light and can be folded its easy to carry when we are travelling.
Right off the bat I was impressed by the slick black and red box the scooter was packaged in. The product itself is very stylish and would make a great present for a birthday or holiday. The assembly was quick and I put it together myself in minutes! The scooter was used by two boys ages 6 and 10. It was just the right size for the 6-year-old and a little short for the 10-year-old. It’s definitely very durable, as the boys have accidently “crash-tested” it several times and it still rides great. I like that the handle bars adjust easily to accommodate different heights and the thick handle grips feel sturdy, absorbing the shock from bumps on the sidewalk. The wheels glide smoothly, however it doesn’t seem like this model would suitable for a long trail ride or anything of that nature. The boys said it was great for scooting up and down the street to their friends’ houses. It folded up easily to store in the garage, which was awesome because we do not need another toy laying in the yard! I was a little disappointed that it didn’t have a kickstand like I’ve seen on other models. Overall, this is a good introductory scooter for a young child ages 5-9. Even though I received this product for free in exchange for a review, I feel the price point is fair and likely would have purchased this item anyway due to durability and ease of use.
Full disclosure, I received a free scooter for my honest review. I have two bots, aged 6 and 3. They both loved this scooter! My favorite part was when you unboxed it, it was very easy to assemble. The folding design is really neat and makes it quite small and great for storage in small places. The handlebars are adjustable to many heights with the flick of a knob, making it very easy to adjust for both of my guys. The scooter seems to have a very easy glide and my boys loved cruising down the sidewalk on it.
Great for shorter (1-mile) rides for 6-7 year olds

I received a free sample of this scooter in exchange for writing an honest review. As it is designed for children, I have an adult`s perspective and a child`s perspective as part of this review. First, the adult portion: the scooter is sturdy and very compact. Versus jamming a bike or roller skates into the trunk of the car, this is a neat, efficient and light package overall. We had some trouble with the folding/unfolding mechanism initially (maybe it was just tight from the factory), but got the hang of it over time. A smallish 9-year old boy and a largish 7-year old girl both tested it over the course of several weekends. The boy thought it too small for him (even at the highest handle setting) and the girl thought it was just right (to give you sense of size vs. age-range). It seems overall a decent product for the price, but a relatively bumpy ride and our 3-mile run / scoot / bike rides seemed a little long for the product (might be ideal for a 1-mile type excursion). The child portion: `I had fun. be careful! on big bumps you might fall. I had to grip the red spongey handles tightly. the spongey handles were comfortable. the spongey handles were squishy. I liked when I went fast! when I press the brake it goes fast then it goes slow. I like when I go down the hill. I like when I go down the hill because I go down fast andI like when I going fast.`
