Fun new version of Monopoly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun new version of Monopoly and I've enjoyed teaching my 7 year old how to play. I think the stamps/ cards are kind of pointless because they aren't reuseable, but it's an overall fun game. It's perfect for a rainy afternoon of entertainment. Thank you for this free sample for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved playing this travel.version of Monopoly! I grew up playing the original with my cousins and loved it. But playing this version with my kids was super fun and very educational! Loved reading and learning of all the different places around the world a lot I hadn't heard of and now want to visit one day. My kids loved playing it too and now want to travel more too which make me super happy because I loooove to travel! Great job Hasbro!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old twins love board games, especially classic Monopoly. I think they like this version even better and I think it’s pretty fun, too! Nice variation of the original game, fun for them to learn about different places. The money is a nice little change too, the little mini card cash is a lot easier for them to handle. All in all I think this is a fun game for kids and adults alike! We love game night in our house and this is now in the rotation! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took this out so my kids and I can play it for game night and it was a bit different from what we're used to seeing on monopoly games. The money is really really small l, we did wish that they were bigger pieces. It has a twist to it which can take some time to get used to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves monopoly and we tend to spend hours playing board games so this was a nice addition. The concept of the board being dry erase is cool to us, especially since we’ve never seen a monopoly like this. The money however is WAY too small and very easy to lose track of. I like that this game has some fun facts and is educational. I do wish it came with more journal cards also because playing with my big family filled them up pretty quickly. All in all we love the concept and idea behind the game and we did still enjoy playing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing addition to the monopoly franchise. My kids and I collect monopoly games and this has easily become a favorite. My kids are 8 and 11 and love that they can stamp on the board. The stamps erase extremely easily which actually surprised me. I expected smears to be left but there were none. I do wish the green duck stamp wasn’t lime green but a dark green, to make it easier to see. The game pieces are super adorable but I do wish it had at least 2 more. We also love that the cards we stamp change the game up for future games. The game itself doesn’t take forever to play which for us is great when we don’t have a lot of time to finish a game.

An interesting twist

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Monopoly world tour travel edition gives an interesting twist to what you are used to. The entire board is dry erase with the player pieces being stamps. All the the properties are real places and contain interesting facts about the places you purchase. This is probably the greatest part of this version. The travel cards also contain places to stamp with your pieces, these however are permanent and chance how you play in the future. Which if you are playing with only a couple people at first using a small set of pieces it leaves very little use of the travel cards to any additional players down the road. The other downside is the money.... All of the money is very time cardboard punch out pieces. Be sure to bring baggies to store everything after your first play. I felt like this version had high potential but then fell short in the end.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves monopoly so we were excited to get to play the Travel World Tour Edition. First off, the money is now tiny chip board tiles. It took a long time to pop them out to even start playing and are a huge pain during transactions to exchange and grip. The other let down is that there are only 4 tokens to play with. I like the concept and creativity but it was executed wrong. The final thing that was annoying was that the travel cards are not dry erase. Which means that you have an advantage selecting certain tokens each time you play moving forward. We still had a lot of fun but it won't be our go to monopoly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Monopoly, but this version is the most fun yet! My family have really enjoyed the travel aspect of this game. It has been great learning about new destinations and information. It is clever that the board is actually dry erase and it has been so fun using the stamper tokens to actually stamp the board! We have loved this game!

In my family, we enjoy playing board games once a week for Family Night, and this game is a really cool addition to our collection. The game is very entertaining and the instructions are clear and simple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family is very competitive, and monopoly is a family favorite for years. We own so many different themed versions and I must say this is one of my kids favorites so far. They really got into it. We keep games at our lake house in case of rainy summer days and this game did not disappoint. As we all know, you need lots of spare time for a good fair game of monopoly so we will keep it there for those rainy days and continue to play! All pieces were in the box, it was packaged well. The dry erase boards were a really fun addition that adds a little more fun than standard Monopoly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you like original monopoly you’ll probably like this game it’s a little different than original but same concept. The board is well made as are game pieces so it should last. It’s nice to have something to fill time besides tv or a tablet and if there’s no power or internet then you have monopoly. Overall I can say I’m pleased with it and might consider purchasing other variations of the game.

Great game for family and friend time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is pretty fun to play with, and a little complicated - it took us sometime to understand how to play, and we tried it with my son and two of his friends of his age (around 8-9). The game is very well designed with plenty of destinations around the world, and play based on a dry board. You deal with tokens and stamps which made the kids really excited, but I have to say it took me sometime to explain or introduce to them some of the destinations as I am not very familiar with - so another way to learn some place new! To us, the fun comes in two parts - the fun to play it with family and friends, and the fun to take sometime to search and look at introduction info on the website, this part truly make you feel like you are exploring the world so thanks Monopoly for bringing these places to us, of some I'd never thought of checking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Monopoly Travel World Tour to play with my family and we love it! It's a great twist on a classic game. My son's favorite part is that he is able to use a dinosaur stamper the whole game. I like how it has little pictures of the different locations on the board along with facts. It's a great learning game for the family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I have game night once a week. Monopoly Travel World Tour has become one of our favorite games. My daughter who is 6 all the way to my husband and myself has a blast. It’s like the old Monopoly but with an international twist. The characters are fun to use and lots of laughs to follow. Two thumbs up for this one!

Very different but fun game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We played this Monopoly game as a family, and we're very pleased by how different it is from other Monopoly games we've tried. To begin with, the tokens used to move about the board are stamps. You can use the stamps to mark the properties you own on the board and to mark the travel journal cards (similar to the community chest cards) to impact future games. Because the gameboard is dry erase, the stamps can be erased at the end of the game. Another difference is that the properties are travel destinations with tour fees if other players land on the property, as well as interesting facts about the location. In addition, the free parking is unique. The first player to find a free parking spot will receive a travel token. They can then use it to stamp any property they desire on their following turn. After that, the free parking is nothing more than a rest stop. The major difference is how to win. Each property card has a travel goal on it, and the player who stamps the most travel goals wins the game. In addition, there is no bankruptcy in this game. Another thing that might be different is the money. They're little and aren't made of paper like other Monopoly money used in various games. Even though it may be better, it has little impact on us. Overall, this is a fantastic Monopoly game that I would recommend to anyone seeking a great game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Monopoly Travel World Tour game is a nice twist on the classic. It's fun and the instructions are easy to follow. My family and I have played it a few times and we like it a lot. The only things I would change are the stampers. The game comes with stamps that places each player and how they have traveled. This is a wonderful idea, but I wish they weren't made from plastic. Outside of that, this is a great game and design!!
