Brushed aluminum is sort of "in", so this matches well with the other items on my desktop. It holds a pair of heavy headphones very well. And it looks great doing it. The brushed aluminum is accented with just a hint of mirror-finish bevel around the base. All aluminum construction - it's heavy enough to remain stable even with heavy phones mounted. It also came with thin rubber foot pads that provide sound dampening and a good non-skid contact. This is very high-quality, inexpensive, and adds a touch of class to the desktop.

For the price, I doubt his can be beat. At work, it holds both my large old-school style headphones and my telephone headset, freeing up badly needed desk space. Not wobbly. Materials don't look of feel cheap.
