Description

Quality large condenser microphones can be the workhorse of recording applications and, while inexpensive options are useful, they often lack versatility, by not providing the right sound across various environments. Welcome the new Stage Right LC100 condenser microphone! Priced as an affordable alternative, the LC100 sits above all others with its ability to capture exceptional sound from any source. Ideal for both voice and instruments, this affordable new condenser mic is the essential tool for podcasters, musicians, streamers, and even value-minded professional recording engineers. Like other professional large condensers, the LC100 features a cardioid polar pattern that rejects background noise coming from the rear of the microphone. Additionally, the LC100 is quiet with a 79dB signal-to-noise ratio. Adding to its versatility, this new condenser can handle 125dB sound pressure level, providing plenty of headroom to handle any sound source found in a recording studio, live show, or any other environment. Finally, the LC100 includes a full-sized shock mount to ensure proper mounting and sound isolation.

So far all good, purchased for my wife and she likes it a lot. If she didn't like it I would hear it and I appreciate that! The hardest part of the deal is not letting her know how much it costs. Purchased it on sale for a good price and we both agree that it sounds so much better than her Amazon no name.

Great Mic per the price, small self noise but very clear reproduction

I'm just getting around to writing about the LC100 mic because I've been too busy to use it until today. But I found it to be very pleasing in the detail of clarity in all ranges low, mid, and high. There is a small amount of self noise but it's negligible, and no more than Mike's costing 5 times as much. I'm impressed with the quality for the price, and I will be trying the more higher level mics from Monoprice as well as your studio monitors, I heard a pair and now they are on my to buy list also.

Received first microphone and it was not working. Went through the process of sending it back and waited for the second replacement microphone. Upon receiving the microphone when I finally got a chance to test it. The second microphone was also dead! It would not work very disappointed. Returned it and requested for a refund. Getting a different microphone. It would not allow me to leave a no star so had to leave one!???????

I bought two LC100s. The sound a lot better than I thought they would. Great addition to your home studio if you need a 'do it all' mic. They do NOT sound like $4000 mics but they DO sound as good as some $500 mics. Built well too.

Nice equipment. Needs a dyno stick to bring out the lows and clean clipping. I have spent more more money for far less value on more name brand mics. 1000 this is not comparable but value to dollar its there.if this were name brand it'd be 250-399.

A solid mic

I have used this mic to record male baritone vocals, on one demo song, and I am pleased with the outcome. I have a couple of other mid-priced mics and this one did surprisingly well. The mic comes with a foam windscreen. I used this, but found one part of the song had a “popping p.” I am ordering the Monoprice Dual Screen POP-Filter to fix this issue in future recordings.

It's my first entry for one of these microphones and it took some getting used to - rate it 4 star as I'm still not fully up to speed on using it the best way - getting there

This inexpensive little jewel is not too shabby!

This microphone is well made, sounds fantastically good and compares favorably to my more expensive handheld condenser mics. The capsules omni directivity and low proximity effect is good and its natural low frequency roll off prevents the need for any filters or pads for eliminating feedback or rumble. It excels at anything from vocals to capturing loud guitar speaker cabinets. Youd be much better off by replacing every dynamic microphone in your collection with this inexpensive jewel.
