A: Hi uscammie - Great question. Because dimmer switches reduce the amount of electricity drawn to the light they reduce amount of light put out by the bulb. Dimmer switches can be used with most any type of light bulb. This lamp takes a Standard Edison medium screw base E26 bulb and comes equip with a one way on/off setting. I purchased two of these lamps in the color “blush” using Drive Up. Once I got home and took them out of their bags, I immediately noticed they are two completely different shades of pink. One is a beautiful light baby pink (as shown online in the item’s stock photo), and one is a very peachy color. Obviously, they do not match. They have two very different tags. After much research and calling many different stores, I have come to learn there is a new version and an old version. The new version is peach, and the old version is the light baby pink. I hope this helps someone! Aside from that, they are nicely made and I would have rated the product five stars if they matched, (and were both the light baby pink as shown in the stock photo).

Beautiful lamp! I bought two and they add a cozy, warm glow to my bedroom in a calming style. Keep in mind that the gray color reads as more of a sage/dusty green in certain light (actually in all light for me- I didn’t even know this was gray until I saw it labeled as such here!).

Cute lamp, but I ordered blue, and it's not blue, it's green (slightly greyish), but definitely not blue. It's too bad, because the height is perfect and something I'm having a hard time finding a nice lamp (not a dorm room lamp) that will fit on my kitchen counter.
