My husband is on a highly restricted sodium diet. Some salt substitutes taste very much like a chemical. This one tastes the most similar to real salt and Target has it for a great price.see moreof the reviewer's review

This is potassium chloride. Regular sale is sodium chloride. Potassium and Sodium sit atop (next to) each other on the periodic table of the elements. You cannot get closer to regular table salt than this. Period. For me, it is almost identical in taste, though some will say it is not.see moreof the reviewer's review

I've been using this product for so many years I don't remember when I started. It was doctor ordered. It definitely requires time to get used to the taste. I usually order 6-8 containers because I'm afraid there will be a time I won't be able to get it. I have one in my car for when I go out to eat...see moreof the reviewer's review

Just as advertised. This product is difficult to find in grocery stores so it was great to be able to just order it on line.
