Be informed
Bought the Moto g stylus 2024 solely because it was the latest phone with a 3.5mm jack all the new phones being manufactured only have the usb c port used for everything. I've used Samsung products all of my adult years. I can't attest to older Moto products, but I can say it's been quite an adjustment to say the least. The phone doesn't come with a gallery app of it's own, nor a calendar, message app and possibly even a phone call app Moto for some reason outsourced all basic apps you can possibly think of that's on a phone to Google. I'm shocked the camera isn't 'google camera', as someone who is used to Samsung products and them having their own system apps it was annoying realising all Moto apps are basically Google apps which places the customer at a disadvantage because the first thing Google photos did when I opened the gallery was ask to pay for cloud gallery storage as storage is running out. If all the regular system apps you can think of is Google you'd be paying for quite a bit of storage which I am not used to as a Samsung user. I had to find alternatives free, ad less alternatives it is truly an inconvenience makes me regret buying the phone to be honest. That's the skinny on Moto phones, also the stylus is far less advanced than Samsung Note from 2020 because you can do air commands such as take photos with the stylus away from the phone. No such thing on Moto phone, feels like a downgrade well it is but the system apps being all Google made it so much worse.

Switched from iOS to Motorola
I switch from an iPhone to the Motorola stylus and honestly love it I have not had a single issue and am happy to no longer be an apple user it takes wonderful pictures and is simplistic switching from iOS

Great buy!
So far it's working well, for the most part. The only thing I'm still trying to figure out is why it's using so much battery. (even though I've set it to power saving, I don't play games or music. But, I'll keep working on it and figure it out. Other than that, I really love what I've gotten with the price. Very affordable and an easy to use phone. I love it!

Love these stylus phones. Buying these for years. Read two dozen straight 5* comments before getting to bob2743 who says don't buy with a 2* review. Bob, sounds like you might have gotten one that's slipped through defected. Try again, you will be glad you did.

So Glad I Got It!
The camera is so clear! Data transfer is thorough but you need to manually transfer PDF and ZIP files. Calls are coming in clearly. Compatibility with my carrier is a plus! Awesome phone.

Great 5G stylus phone
This is an excellent phone at a good value price point .It is very responsive and charging is really fast. It slowly discharges the battery with all day service. I have had LG, OnePlus and other brands in the past. This is my first, I like the stylus feature also. I will not purchase a pricey Samsung or Apple phone. Period, ever.

I love this phone this is been the best Motorola phone that I have on and I only buy Motorola I'm actually giving this phone for a friend of mine. I love the fact that the little tool stays in the phone no matter how much I drop it or bang it it stays right in place in fact I forget sometimes that it's even there until I need to write something down and then I'm like oh okay here we go the color is vibrant rich distinctive music sounds great I highly recommend this phone.. thank you Motorola!

i am impressed !! it is like the motorola family can not make a version of the moto g that i do not like ; moto phones have been resilient to say the least ; now , a compartment for a stylus is just adding more ways to take care of your phone and if you take care of your phone it might end up taking care of you one of these days...moto_g_stylus

Not bad
It's a bit premature for me to write a review because I usually wait and see what happens in a three month period. So far it's pretty good though. Does the job, the stylus is fun. Only immediate downside is that the screen size and quality is a bit lower than my previous Motorola.

Great features until phone stops working
I bought a new Motorola phone about a month ago. Up until now, everything worked perfectly and I was really happy with it. Unfortunately, just today the touchscreen completely stopped responding. I tried shutting the phone down and restarting it multiple times, but nothing fixed the issue. It’s frustrating to have such a major problem so soon after purchase, especially since the phone was working great before this. I’m disappointed and hoping Motorola’s support or warranty can resolve it quickly.

Motorola G stylus 2020 and 2024
I really like these phones they are very nice and work very well I have had the 2020 version for a little while until my son's Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra gave out on him so I gave him my 2020 one he seems to love it. And ended up getting the 2024 model and this phone is fantastic I haven't had any problems with it at all with either one of them. I like the fact that the 2024 model has unplugged on it that is a nice feature I wish the 2020 model would have that. Motorola please keep the stylus phones coming hopefully one day these phones will have 200 mega pixel camera with space zoom that would be nice feature too along with staying at least 6.1 inch screen. I also like the 256 gb storage with external sd storage and head phone jack makes a difference. Keep up the amazing work Motorola! And Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

old school headphone jack!!
I've had this for over a year and I'm still enjoying it. The best part is that it has the old school headphone jack. All phones need to have this back so we don't have to listen to other people's conversations and loud videos in public. I've had no problems with this phone, I would buy again!

Good stylus phone
I use a stylus on my smart phone, so I like this model. It works well most of the time, but sometimes becomes stuck and will not respond to anything. Still learning about this new phone, so maybe will get better in time.

Awesome Phone Punches Above its Weight
I've had this phone about 8 months now (256g). It replaced my Google Pixel 8 Pro. It is in every possible way superior to my previous phone. Even the camera is better. Battery life is much better. This is the best midrange phone EVER, as it is very reliable and better than many flagship phones that cost 4 or 5 times more. It even has a headphone jack. I cannot recommend this phone highly enough. It has far surpassed my expectations. I would give it more than 5 stars, if that were an option.
