A lot of the reviews posted here must be for some other product. This is a replacement water filter for the Mr. Coffee Machine. You place over the coffee filter basket and it filters the clean water before it goes through the coffee grounds. My Mr. Coffee purchased in 2014 came with one. It has two ...  see moreof JKBalt's review

I bought this to try it out and perhaps save some paper. I found it did not handle the same volume of coffee grounds as I put in the paper filter, and as a result it overflowed routinely. This fouled the brew operation and let a good deal of grounds into the carafe. OK for small pots of coffee.  see moreof pjkrupka's review

We wanted to replace our 20 year old filter that looked just like the picture. What we were sent was a generic filter with a solid bottom that was smashed. They replaced this with an intact one shipped in a box but it is still not what is pictured on the website. The generic one is very difficult to...  see moreof Bobo's review

A long time back, Buick automobile coined an advertisement most appropriate for the Gold Tone Filter. "When a better filter - (automobile) is built, Mr. Coffee (Buick) will buid it."  see moreof Tom Carter's review
