Purchased this grinder recently after my parents got theirs. They use the grinder for drip brew coffee. The biggest pros are that you can set the dial to grind exactly that amount you're going to brew. It takes a few tries to decide exactly how much and how fine you want it, but once you figure that...see moreof the reviewer's review

Solid Grinder

This burr grinder will give you great french press coffee every time. It also has a setting for drip and espresso grind that I haven't used but probably work great. You won't find a grinder that will compare to this one for the money.see moreof the reviewer's review

Great first grinder

This is the very first coffee grinder I've ever used. I considered buying a blade grinder for a long time but had flashbacks to using my magic bullet to grind coffee and didn't like that experience or the cleanup - plus many of those type of grinders seem pricey for what they are. I did some researc...see moreof the reviewer's review

We bought this a few months back and it is still going strong. Love it! Sometimes the beans get stuck but it works itself out. Great buy! Recommend since it is so much less than traditional burr grinders.see moreof the reviewer's review

Not for anything finer than French press

2 out of 5 stars
Evan 5 years ago
They claim 18 settings but this definitely does not grind coffee any finer than acceptable for french press or percolator coffee. Don't even think about espresso. You would have to use twice the amount of coffee for a drip machine as well. The second issue I have with this is consistency. There ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Do Not Buy

I have purchased a couple of items from the Mr Coffee brand and they have both been cheap and have broken. This burr grinder lasted about 2 months, ground around 12 bags of coffee and now will not work. Please, go find some other brand to buy as this will only frustrate you.

We've had this grinder for about 5 months and it no longer functions properly. It doesn't grind continuously, just makes a lot of noise. Avoid this... unless you only need a grinder for a short time.see moreof the reviewer's review
