Does what it says (with work)

I was so excited for this coffee maker with multiple options. I loved that I could serve my coffee multiple ways. However upon receiving it I realized it’s actually a lot more work to switch between options. It’s good if you mostly want to use one but that’s not the point of a multiple option product. I think I’ll stick to my Keurig as it’s a lot more simple. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is a beautiful coffee maker!! It sits on the counter like the king of the kitchen. Anytime I don’t have to remember to do something I’m a little less anxious about it. You can set this guy up to brew your coffee for you every morning. I really appreciate that in products these days. It’s also a pretty fast brew compared to my other coffee maker which is so great for when you have to grab a cup of coffee during the day on the go. Excellent home coffee maker!

I received this Mr. Coffee Occasions All-in-One Coffee Maker as part of a review program, and I'm posting an unbiased review of my 2 weeks using the coffee maker. First off, this is an excellent coffee maker to have at home. Mr. Coffee's design team has upped the ante with this model, and if I were to take a guess, this might be a replacement for the Mr. Coffee SJX (which I've previously purchased and owned). The Occasions model has a HUGE leg up in home coffee making in my opinion, allowing novice coffee makers like myself to up the amateur barista game when entertaining/ having people over at home. The build quality of the machine is absolutely solid! The Occasions coffee maker can brew 4 different sizes for Single Serve's, and make a mean Espresso as well. I've been using the machine twice a day o brew coffee (morning and evening), and haven't encountered any issued so far. If you're new to coffee brewing, this machine is not for you as you'd need basic familiarity with how to operate such machines. If you already have used Mr. Coffee's coffee machines previously, the user manual is very easy to understand (just a few additional settings/ buttons over prior models) and you're good to go. I started brewing my first batch 30 minutes after unboxing and cleaning the equipment prior to use. It's easy to clean after use as well, no rocket science involved. The steamer is a tad bit more powerful than previous models, so be careful when using it. Test it first while frothing milk, and raise the output slowly. I found that the best frothing is obtained when the steamer operates at just around the mid-range - any higher and you might scald yourself. The only drawback that I think some people may have with this machine is that it takes up quite a bit of space in the kitchen (see packagingphoto for size). Unless you have a separate kitchen island to keep this, it would be an overkill for a studio apartment/ 1 Bed apartment. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would highly recommend the Mr. Coffee Occasions AiO Coffee Maker to anyone who wants to upsize their coffee machine, or are looking for a new one. If you maintain and clean your coffee maker regularly, you can get years of service and excellent use out of them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Full Featured and Sturdy, but Complicated

The coffee pot is attractive looking on the counter and appears to be well-built and sturdy. I like the feel of the actual pot and it seems quite durable and doesn't get hot enough to hold. If you're primarily interested in making a pot of coffee, this is a decent system. It makes a good cup of coffee and the espresso and milk frothing functions were nice new additions to play around with adding to my morning cup. The cons: It does brew pretty loudly and also doesn't have a way to program it to turn on automatically. I found much of the instructions for brewing weren't exactly intuitive. You need the maker set at standby, then when the water has heated switch to brew. The coffee maker also has an addition to be able to make single k-cup servings. I found this to be largely unusable; very cumbersome to get on correctly and definitely not quick. This is absolutely not a decent replacement for a Keurig if you're mainly interested in one cup servings. Adding water is also a pain as the water container is in the back and there is no indicator on the front that tells you the water is running low. There were several times I ran out of water halfway through the brewing of a pot and had to start all over. Overall, I would say this is a decent system if you're primarily interested in making larger pots and experimenting with a bit of the extras for lattes and espressos. But, this system is definitely short a lot of the finer qualities that I would expect in a maker that boasts its features. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Tastes Heavenly

This coffee maker is fabulous. You can make espresso, regular coffee, and single serve coffee either with a k cup or with your own coffee grounds. The coffee no matter what kind you make comes out the perfect temperature and has a delicious bold smooth flavor. I love being able to use the k cups plus the organizer is a great way to not loose the pieces and save space. It's got a really sleek look and is built with high quality. I also love the espresso which surprised me because i am not a fan of them when I order one at a coffee place. It has a bunch of recipies in the owners manual and a top notch milk frother that actually uses steam like the ones used in coffee shops. Only downfall is that it is pretty noisy when it first starts up. It's not for long and that is my only complaint. Very happy with this product. Plus the self cleaning system makes it really easy to clean and it has error codes for if any problems occur like improper water level ect. which made operating this thing a breeze. Highly recommend. Nice Coffeemaker

Overall first impression of this all in one coffeemaker is good. Quite a step up from our simple coffee only brew machine. Here's the early pros/cons. Pros: -looks nice. -brews a decent coffee and espresso -brews coffee fairly quickly and at a good temperature. -on-board water tank is a plus (but con: tank size is slightly larger than a full 10 cup brew so in effect you are filling the tank after every use). Cons: -a little noisy when brewing -no level indicator on carafe to tell you how much coffee is in pot. You have to remove lid to check. -no way to program to brew at a future time. This was a feature I used every day on old machine and really wished it was included here. Generally happy with this all-in-one coffeemaker. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Does EVERYTHING!

This coffee maker is HUGE and doesn't skimp on the details. It felt somewhat overwhelming to unbox this behemoth of a kitchen appliance because I didn't know where to begin! The instruction booklet was a life saver and walked me through the steps to make espresso, steamed milk, k cups, and an entire pot of coffee! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
