  • A: Hi. We purchased this a couple weeks ago. Just wanted to correct, there really isn’t an auto shut off feature. Once your coffee brews it is either keeping warm in your carafe or you are enjoying the single cup…wondering if arm up and sip is really considered exercise in the morning? But really, there is no burner to shut off and once it’s finished brewing it beeps to alert you.

The coffee maker makes great coffee. Unfortunately it has a great flaw and many people seem to have this problem with it. It leaks water. You can fill the canister with water but there's a good chance that if yours is defective you'll wake up the next morning and find water all over the counter. Real shame. I'll keep it until I get so fed up I just have to throw it out and best believe I am never buying anything from this brand again. This is the second time I buy something from theirs and it doesn't measure up to the expectation of what used to be a great brand.

This is our 4th Mr Coffee product. I love the carafe and my last 3 models have had that feature. This coffee maker keeps leaking and has leaked down the counter and damaged my new hardwood floors. I check the pot and the filter basket every time I make coffee. Everything seems to be in place, but there’s always a puddle of water next to the coffee maker when it’s finished. Very disappointed.

I love the coffee maker. It is fast easy and makes great coffee. I love that I can switch to a regular pot when I have family in town or just single serve when it's just me. I hated that I went through so many pods when I have guest. The only down side is this thing started leaking water randomly on my coffee table. I see the runner on the table get soaked constantly. I think it comming from the bottom. Other than this issue I love it.

I’ve now had 2 that were duds. First machine leaked all of the water out randomly but I contacted the company and they sent another one. The second machine never brews properly. Sometimes it stops after brewing only a little and sometimes it runs water right thru the brew process which basically just gives you coffee water. I’ve wasted so much coffee trying to get it correct. I again contacted the manufacturer for a refund and not another machine. Do not buy this!

You have to be careful or the little drops of nasty tasting black stuff will get in your coffee and ruin the taste. Plus it keeps coffee hot for no more than 30 minutes tops. Totally disappointing as I like the features of the thing.

BUT, why does it sound like a haunted house door closing at the end of the brew cycle? I also want to suggest that the resevoir should be reviewed and made a little more snug. The carafe is now leaking at the seal between the black top piece and the stainless bottom. I also previously had issues where the water would leak from the reservoir, but I did figure out how to fix that by letting air bubbles out first. I love how it keeps the coffee hot for at least 3 hours but with all of these issues it's not worth it.

I bought this coffee maker for it's versatility using both pods and grounds. I have had this coffee maker for about a year now, and it works fine for a while and then starts leaking water. It first did this within a few weeks of purchasing but I was unable to return it. I have tried just about every fix, from descaling to switching the water I use. It will work for 1 or 2 brews and then starts leaking. I will be replacing it soon.

Purchased this to replace a similar Mr Coffee unit that lasted more than 6 years...having brewed a full pot for 365 days each year! Love this model...it covers all the features of the old unit and adds the single cup brewing feature. Very easy to use. The one tip for consumers, and this is not covered in the instructions, is that you have to 'prime the pump' to get it to do the initial cleaning cup before first use. When the "add water" alert comes on, make sure that the previously presoaked filter (five minutes at LEAST) is in place and that the resevoir is filled to the max. Press the brew now button again and listen for the pump to kick in. You may have to repeat this process a few times until the "add water" alert no longer happens. Then you're good to go! I could not be happier with this purchase...seems like this was designed especially for me. BTW...the carafe stores brewed coffee all day at a reasonable drinkable temperature and all I have to do to raise the temperature for subsequent cups from the carafe is about 30 seconds in the microwave. Voila'...nice hot coffee, no burned taste of having been cooked the by a heating element all day, and no wasted coffee.

Just a plastic connection to the coffeemaker below the filter. The leak is cold water, not coffee or heated water.

I purchased this coffee pot because I like the idea of the combo coffee pot and pod with insulated carafe. But I am having 2 major problems: the carafe leaks coffee with every cup I pour and the water reservoir periodically leaks water all over my countertop, cabinets and floor, so I can’t set up ahead of time and have to babysit the machine while it brews.

Love the concept, leaks water all over the counter, cannot keep any water in the tank. Also the coffee is never hot enough

Has constant low water alert. You have to constantly prime the pump. Very aggravating. NOT a way to start your morning!!!

The only good reviews are the ones the people got one for free as part of a promotion. Do not buy this pot. I'm in my way to return mine right now. Could not even get it to make a pot of hot water. Keeps saying add water. Tried every recommendation to get it to work. Also was not heating what little water actually came out. Such a disappointing product.
