Muriel Wood Writing Desk with Drawers Inspire Q

Front corner of the desk is all smashed up. The desk is too large to re-package and return so I guess I’ll just have to live with it. I can likely have some repair it but it’s disappointing that I have to pay extra to repair a brand new item. Thankfully the desk was very quick and easy put together.

Simple to put together, Very pretty design

Negative: ordered “lemon” but is not like the picture! It’s a dark yellow like a sunflower. It has an unpleasant smell. Positive: easy to put together and a good size.

This desk is super cute and I built it in a matter of minutes however, it’s described as an office desk which was primarily the reason why I purchased it other than it doesn’t actually look like an ugly office desk. The drawer sucks, it doesn’t glide out easily. I use it 40 hours a week for work, it hasn’t even been two weeks and the white paint discolored on the front right edge where my right forearm touches to type (from moving my arm back and forth from the keyboard to the mouse). I’m sad because since the white paint is rubbing off, now it looks blueish as if blue ink was smothered on it. Although it looked blue I used a clean cloth with soap and water hoping it was maybe something else (high hopes) but it wasn’t. The pictures are from before I tried to wipe it off hoping to get before and after images but it stayed the same. I still like it and I’m going to order a desk mat, I just wish I would have known sooner. I’m sure if you don’t use it as much, you won’t come across this issue.

I LOVE the Muriel writing desk, which I am using as a make-up vanity table. The first one arrived damaged (UPS must have dropped it in the corner), but Target guest service was great about sending me out a replacement right away. The new one arrived in perfect condition, and was easy to assemble. I chose the "lemon" color and adore it, although I would call it more of a golden yellow or an orange yellow, rather than a lemon yellow. I think that the nice simple, elegant styling of this desk would go with any room decor, and I am super pleased with my purchase! It appears that this desk is also being sold on other websites under different names, but of course, I bought it from Target for the best price and service.

The desk was received in excellent condition and was easy to assemble. The color matched expectations.

I am incrdibly upset. I have never received a piece of furniture that was so low quality, so dirty, so dinged up. I am actually offended that Target would not only sell this awful piece of furniture but actually charge so much money for it. It is light weight, barely holds up a computer. It came with chipped and scratched paint. It scratches if you touch it. Its disgusting. Do not waste your money.

The heirloom color is anything but orange/red/tomato as pictured; it's ruby/red/pink.

I really love this desk. It was so simple to put together and great for my small space. The drawer is shallow and cheaply made. It doesn’t open and close well, the reason for giving it three stars. Other than the drawer it’s perfect

This was very easy to assemble. Packaged well and everything was in the box including the allen key. Took15 minutes to unpack and assemble. Would recommend.

The color description should just say RED if it's red. It looks dark orange in the picture, which is what I needed. Super easy to put together, just 4 legs and knobs and voila! Nice size and pretty curves. For the price, it is a decent piece of furniture.

I wanted a pop of teal in my room. This was the perfect fit and i love the design. But, it's way more green tones than the picture reveals. I wanted teal, and this is a strong pop but i had to debate if I wanted to return it, because the green undertones is not my favorite. Would be fine if you were expecting it, but I was not!

Happy with the style but very disappointed with the damaged parts. Decided NOT to return as it was a Christmas present so I just put it together. I'll have to fix it myself later...What a pain in the butt
