Best family game night!

This is our favorite game to play on family game night. The ghost has to learn how to give clues to specific people all while not talking and trying solve those clues is even more difficult and funny. We love the voting on who is right or wrong and yes we do use the timer for each round. This game is 100% fun.

Way too confusing. I shouldn’t have to watch several YouTube videos to figure out how to play a game. As others have written, provided instructions make literally no sense. There is no closure.

We had a BLAST playing this game! Even our kids (ages 8, 11, and 13) played along and did well! There are up to 6 players, and 1 “ghost.” The “ghost” hands out cards with images on it to give each player a clue help them guess The Who, where, and with what in the game. The cards are abstract, so the players have to think creatively, outside of the box to find the connections. In the end, you’re left with 6 “sets” of killer, place, and weapon. The ghost gives final clues so the players guess which set is the real killer/location/weapon. If you don’t like games that force you to think outside of the box, take time to set up/put away, and have lots of little nuances, you won’t like this game. But if you’re a board game junkie and love a challenge, high quality pieces and cards, and cooperative play, then this game is for you!

This game is AWFUL. Took forever to set up, still very confusing. Got all the way to the “end” where each person had their person, place, and weapon. Then the directions make NO SENSE. What a waste of $$$. Can anyone explain how to finish this game?

This game is such a fun collaborative one. I love that it is different every time you play and has the subjective aspect. The art is beautiful. Fun to play if just two people or eight! Everyone we have introduced it to has loved it.

The setup to the game can feel a little daunting but it is a lot of fun! Feels like a more collaborative game of Clue. There are YouTube videos that can help with understanding the game before you first sit down to play.

One person is the “ghost”. Everyone else is trying to figure out who killed the ghost. The ghost can’t talk but they can give you hints through cards. The catch? You all aren’t trying to find the one person that killed the ghost. Everyone individually has to figure out who they killed, where, and with what. So if you have 6 players, there will be 6 killers. At the end the ghost selects one person who is the one that killed them and everyone has to guess who the ghost picked. It makes…literally no sense. It’s SOOOOO long and I find it shocking that people are saying they laughed while playing this game. It as agreed that everyone who played it sincerely didn’t enjoy it. It’s just a confusing and SIGNIFICANTLY longer game of Clue. Just play Clue.

We love this game! Myself, my husband and our 9 year old daughter have played it many times over the last year. The rules are long, and very detailed. Set aside some time for the "ghost" to read the rules thoroughly the first time. Once you've played, it's pretty simple though. (Although we have yet to try the rules for more than 3 players). It's really challenging and a lot of fun to both provide and interpret the clues. We all take turns being the ghost, which really varies the game play, because it's all subjective. Because of this, you can get infinite plays out of the game. I also really love how organized the box is. Everything has a specific place, so it all fits in neatly and orderly. It takes a few extra minutes when cleaning up, but saves a ton of time digging for stuff upon the next play only to discover something's missing. This is one of our family's most favorite games!

This game was SO confusing and took us over 30 minutes to set up and explain. We made it past the part where everyone found their person, location and weapon and then the directions no longer made sense. Everyone was extremely frustrated and confused and never want to play again.

I'm going to start by saying this game is frustrating lol. We do a weekly game night and I am rating it at 5 stars, because it never fails to get people laughing, talking, and cooperating. The imagery is so incredibly and random that you just have to look at everything in awe while simultaneously laughing. My friends love it and whenever they as psychics struggle we all make them the ghost next game so they can feel the ghost's pain of trying to communicate lmao. It's simply the best!

Not great for everyone & pricey

The person who plays the ghost uses cards to communicate clues. The cards themselves are ‘out there’ & result in difficulty for the players trying to guess why a frog dancing in space represents a horse pulling a carriage. Can be a frustrating and disappointing game, especially for the price. Buy “Horrified” instead!!!

We’ve played 3 times in the 5 days we’ve owned it. It’s a cross between Code Names, Clue and Betrayal. It’s quickly become a new family favorite. Target made it easy to order online, then pick up-although it took 3 stores before I found one in stock! Worth the extra 15 minute drive.

I like to keep my things in good condition and was bummed to see the board had a small but deep scratch in it right out of the box. The box itself also has some minor damage, but that doesn't bother me as much as the board itself.

Fun, more in-depth version of Clue

Played one time so far with ages 32 to 70. We all had a great time. The idea of the game is that one player is murdered and becomes a ghost. The remaining players hold a seance to receive visions from the ghost to try and solve their murder to set them free. It was fun working towards the same goal. It takes about 20 minutes to explain and set up the game. There is a creepy soundtrack you can play from their website which added to the ambiance. I think it could be fun to really get into it and set the scene with some dim lighting and candles.
