Description
Send air-powered rockets soaring with the National Geographic Light-Up Air Rockets set! This is a great activity kit for kids that promotes physical activity while teaching science in an unforgettably fun way. Set-up is quick and easy, too. You simply install the launch base legs, mount the rocket, then stomp the foot pump to send rockets into the sky! There are three rockets in this kit, and each comes with a switchable LED light inside to make night-time launches spectacular. The launch tube is adjustable so you can experiment with flight paths and trajectory. A detailed learning guide is also included, providing insight into the science of flight!

A: Hi, thank you for your question. The batteries are for the actual air rockets. The rockets are propelled by air (foot pump) and can be used over & over again for endless launches.

A: Due to children all developing at different rates our manufacturer's suggested age of 8+, is a safe standard age. However this toy would be safe and appropriate for an advanced child of 5 or an adult supervised 5 year old. Just like snowflakes no two children are alike, so we provide a suggested age as a basic guide, and rely on the gift giver to know the recipient's abilities. Got this for our son‘s sixth birthday it was quite the hit at his party. Everyone really enjoyed playing with it, really cool that has an adjustable base. The version I had growing up only went straight up well worth the money. My only recommendation would be better quality hose.

This is NOT a 3 pack of rockets as shown here on the picture. So disappointed. I bought this as a surprise present for my grandson for spring break. We ordered it on pickup, and didn’t realize it was actually a box with only 2 rockets in it. The actual rockets and launch pad work great. Target needs to change the advertisement of this product to the updated image of the box with only 2 rockets.

I bought this item as a gift. The other reviews are still correct that it only comes with 2 rockets. The box is also labeled 2 even though online it is labeled 3.

When I purchased this item online, it said that there was 3 light-up air rockets as it shows on the image here, but when I received it, the box said that there was only 2 light-up air rockets, and there was only 2 in the box. There seems to be some discrepancy between what is shown and what you actually receive.
