Purchased for my 10 year old son. He already has many nerf items, and this was a bonus to his collection. The product was great, the packaging was awful! The box was torn completely ripped and open on one end. If it hadn't been so close to Christmas I would have returned it as I feared the nerf gun was damaged. It worked out fine, but in the future I will order earlier so I can be sure it is in new condition.
Totally worth the price especially if you pick up the rechargable battery pack as well.

I have a Zeus, Apollo and the Atlas. I loved the Grip magazine feed on the Apollo and the Semi-Auto on the Zeus. So imagine how excited I was when I saw the Hera. I kept my expectations low when I bought it since I knew that getting hyped could lead me to being disappointed in a good blaster. But whoa... This is what the Zeus should have been, the trigger pull is very responsive and it's way way easier to switch magazines in this blaster. The fact that I can use the rechargeable battery pack makes this even more awesome. Sure the total cost of the Hera and the battery pack is about 80 usd but... and this is a big but :) a pack of c cell runs about 12 usd for 8 batteries so after about 3 or 4 battery changes you start saving money and believe me once you start playing with this you won't want to use a zeus again!
This is a much better improved version of the Zeus with smoother ergonomics in general (smoother magazine release, compact size, crisp trigger pull) but I experienced a small minor problem with mine. Whenever I tried to pull out the magazine with a few rival balls inside it, one ball would pop out of the magazine. This wasn't a huge deal because I would usually empty my magazine out before reloading, but just a strange problem I encountered. Also, if you have small hands the grip may be too big for you, but it worked just fine for me. Furthermore, I believe it is a bit expensive but worth it nonetheless. All in all, this is an amazing blaster that's worth buying.
