I was hoping I'd be one of the lucky ones who purchased this for my sons and would not be regretting it. I was so wrong. As the other reviews have stated, there is horrible bad static that's almost impossible to hear over. Not worth it at all for the price, and definitely I would never recommend this product.

Purchased on a holiday sale for less than the $14.99 list price. While it is an affordable walkie talkie set, it isn't worth purchasing due to low quality. Both handsets receive loud static all the time unless you are holding the button to transmit. Voice quality is scratchy and hard to hear. The Morse code button is a nice touch and transmits clearly, but the kids don't know morse code. Also, they run on 9V batteries, which tend to be more expensive than AA or other varieties.
