The Zombie Strikeout blaster is designed to look like a broken baseball bat with a circular foam saw blade attached to it. The handle automatically retracts when the dart fires. It was easy to use, lightweight and came with instructions. However after just a few minutes, he became quickly bored with it. I wouldn't recommend it.

It holds two Nerf "bullets" and fires them one at time. This thing packs some power and he can hit his targets from across the room. I liked that it was smaller than a lot of the average Nerf offerings and seems very sturdy and well made.

It comes with eight foam darts to blast out of it. The range is great. We shot a couple onto the roof from ground level. It’s easy to load and shoot. Pull back the handle in the back and push the orange button to shoot. Simply reload and give it another tug. I imagine it will last until he outgrows it. Considering the quality. Very nice toy for kids 8 and up. My son even shared it with his friend and they took turns blasting darts all over our backyard. Be prepared for lost darts. It happens. You can always replace them. Thanks so much for the opportunity to try this toy.

It is rather large to be a manual load and shoot but they move fast and can make it work. Otherwise they enjoyed the item and are able to make quick switches during war. Not sure of the price point for this but I’m sure it is probably overpriced.

The only issue we ran into is it is a little difficult to pull back in order to fire it. But no big issue really! He has had so much fun with this toy. It’s a great toy for outside!

It comes as a bat that you can load the foam darts into the top of the bat and they shoot out from the top of the bat! The distance and durability is pretty awesome! I would highly recommend!

My boys are 9 and 11 and my daughter is 6. They were really excited to receive this. They chased each other around shooting the first day and haven’t touched it since. When I asked what they thought of it, my daughter said “It’s awesome!” So I guess they like it more than it appears.
