A: This machine only brews hot; it is brewed OVER ice, it doesn’t produce it.

A: I have a nespresso coffee maker.I reuse the pods by carefully removing the foil top and putting my own grounds in. You can buy little caps that fit into the pod on Amazon that work. It’s a bit putsy but it works. It makes a good cup of coffee with cream.

Q: Why did mine not include the 12 count sample pack? It is shown in the photo yet the box only contained the machine, the tumbler, and the two sleeves of iced pods. I purchased it in-store at Target.

The coffee is fine and the POP is attractive but, far from being the smallest footprint, the water tank is NOT movable, so it takes up more space and is awkward. You should note that on the description as the videos of the swiveling tank are a sales point for the Next. The POP tank doesn't swivel.

I don’t know where to start, but I’mma keep it simple. I was so happy that I taste a cup of coffee from this machine and it was so good so I had to get one. I had it for a couple of months I was sick I couldn’t use it And when I finally opened it up, it was used it didn’t work. I had to clean it then it finally worked. Every time I use it, I have to clean it before I brew the coffee because it won’t work One day it made a loud noise. I thought it was gonna explode. I don’t recommend this machine Nespresso you could do better.

My machine stopped working after 2 days. I was able to get the machine up and running, connected to WiFi and poured a few cups of coffee. The following day, my machine would not turn on, despite trying multiple outlets for power sources. Very disappointed. I spent a lot of money on a machine for it to malfunction so quickly.

I purchased this machine a while ago because I wanted something compact and simple, and I'm not a heavy coffee drinker—I only use it about four times a month. For me, that’s perfect; I enjoy knowing I can make a good cup of coffee whenever I feel like it. The quality of coffee is great, no question about that. However, I’ve run into some issues with the machine, despite my limited use. Since it only has one button, it can be hard to diagnose problems when something goes wrong. For example, when a red light appears, I usually have to try several different solutions before I can figure out what’s wrong and fix it. This can be frustrating because it’s not always clear what the issue is. Even though there’s an app, it doesn’t give specific troubleshooting guidance, which I think would be very helpful, especially for a one-button machine like this. I have seen reviews mentioning that the machine is loud, and it definitely is, but for me, the quality of the coffee makes up for that. Overall, I’d still recommend it, especially if you’re looking for something small and stylish that consistenly delivers great coffee. But for anyone considering it, just know that if it stops working, you may have to go through a bit of trial and error to get it running again. I really hope Nespresso considers enhancing the app to provide clearer guidance on what each error light means in the future.

Just got my Pop model yesterday and was anxiously waiting as my old machine died and leaked all over. Disappointed the water tank did not swivel but liked the quality of the water tank. Extremely disappointed in the temperature of my cup of coffee this morning when I used it for the first time. I still had to heat it more in my microwave for 30 seconds. Other reviews mentioned it was loud. Boy they were not kidding. What is wrong with your engineering department that they can’t design a coffee maker that does not sound like you are at the Indy 500? For the investment consumers make in the cost of the capsules we are entitled and expect a quality coffee maker. Nespresso, you can do better and owe it to your consumers to do better.

the water tank on the side is a deal break for me, it doubles foot print and prevents this machine from being the space saver it claims to be. I really want a vertuo machine, but may have to go with the orginal capsules

We are here to assist and would like to suggest our VertuoPlus, which features an adjustable water tank option, or our Vertuo Next machine, with the water tank positioned at the back. The VertuoPlus is more comparable in size, measuring W 8.7 in, H 12.7 in, and D 12.8 in, while the Vertuo Next may be slightly larger than expected, with dimensions of W 5.5 in, H 12.4 in, and D 16.8 in. We took a chance on the Vertuo Pop Plus and are returning it. We wanted something smaller and wanted to try some of the larger pods. 1. It is super noisy. If you live in close quarters it is noisy enough to wake others up in the morning. 2. It's hard to close and just feels overall cheap. Our older model is much better quality, not as noisy, and easier to open close / use. 3. It's not as frothy as our older model. A personal preference, but a big minus for us. 4. The coffee didn't feel overheated temperature wise, but it smelled and tasted overheated. For reference, exact same pods used in the older machine the same day, so definitely a machine issue vs a pod issue. Just some things to consider if you're looking for a smaller machine; this one may not be it.

You'll want to review our Vertuo coffee blends to find an intensity that best suites your needs. The higher the number, the bolder the coffee, which will be more bitter. You may want to start from an intensity 6 which is mid range, and work your way down to intensity 2, to find your perfect coffee and espresso. We recommend starting at Melozio with an intensity of 6. We purchased a new entry-level Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ and have been enjoying an elevated coffee experience. Pros: Simplicity, the crema and the variety of flavors and sizes. Cons: The manual opening/closing, the costs of the pods. We haven’t found our go-to variety yet but we’re enjoying the research.

The mug tray is too small! For one of the few Vertuo machines that delivers an "XL Size" cup of coffee, why is the platform for the mug so blasted small? The bottom of my mug, a fairly standard size 12 oz coffee mug, hangs half off the tiny little platform. I could remove the platform entirely but then there are two holes in front of the machine that make it look like a part is missing. I have had the same issue with other Nespresso machines. I realize that espresso cups fit espresso machines. However, if you're going to offer machines that serve a regular size cup of coffee, please make the platform at least large enough to hold a coffee mug! Returning the machine without using it.

I’ve bought 2 so far. Returned the first one because immediately out of the box it was malfunctioning, horribly loud and shaking when running. Thought it was a fluke. Now my second one is malfunctioning after only a WEEK of use. Violently shakes and is insanely loud. It shook so bad it knocked my glass cake stand off my counter and of course it shattered which is horrible when you have a toddler. When it DID work properly, I absolutely loved it!! I don’t know what to do with this current machine, I don’t have time to troubleshoot it with customer service and I’m definitely not wasting anymore money.
