Purchased this router thinking it would be an upgrade from my old wireless N router; it was not. Range is poor, whether on 2.4 or 5ghz connection. This is an excellent product for what it is -- a quality inexpensive alternative to expensive $200 routers. I have a 1200 sq ft garden home and this works perfectly. Support for 5ghz AC. It was an easy setup and my devices are definitely faster. You do have to select the 5ghz AC Wi-Fi connection as the Router presents two. The connection with the -5 is fastest. I thought I was upgrading my 3 yr old dual band belkin router. Boy was I wrong. This thing is the king of slow! My old router which was under 50 dollars. when I bought it makes this thing look like a snail. Do not buy this! Save your money.
