I’m not saying that this is a bad product it just didn’t work for me. I currently have Spectrum and I have an upstairs bedroom with a gaming system that keeps dropping the signal. I went out and just purchased a better router.

Junk! It worked for almost 2 months then just turned off almost continuously. Every troubleshooting tip tried but it just doesn’t want to stay on or connected. Unable to return to Target due to Covid return policy. Contacted Netgear who were no help at all. This experience has left me not wanting to make any Netgear purchases in the future as they don’t stand behind their products. Save yourself some money and trouble buy a different brand.

Works great. Easy setup. It is about 100 ft away in a different building and so far has been connecting fine for both. So far has not effected our internet speed. Very happy.

Excellent choice! Speeds advertised by your internet service provider (ISP) are always lower in practice (that's why they say "speeds *up to* X!"). Thus, toys like this help you avoid falling into further traps, e.g. installing / enabling hook-ups around your house with additional routers, buying into your ISPs' repeater service, spending hours on the phone with your ISP, purchasing some over-priced Google or Nest or other trendy repeater set, or just being wildly upset and complacent with sub-optimal service. Near my home router, I get about 25 mbps, and these help maintain 10-20 mbps in the deadest spots. You will always get a little less speed from such repeaters, but that's part of the tech. Also: you're probably going to be fine with as little as 5 mbps for email and surfing, and streaming at 10-15 mbps - over the past decade, content providers have optimized delivery so well that your internet speed is only one important, but not the most important, issue sometimes. Shipping was really fast (arriving 1-2 days, even during the COVID-19 drama!)
