This will be my third year using Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel and I am amazed at how a product with no greasy oily residue can give such get coverage! I was totally convinced when I went to my dermatologist last week and her words were, “If I put you in order with all of my patients your age (63) you would be the first with taking great care of your skin!” Her office has always been a believer in all Neutrogena products! Here’s to another great summer on our boat with my Neutrogena!!
This is my favorite sunscreen. I have tried more than I would care to admit, and this one doesn’t break me out or make my face burn or itch. My only fantasy would be that the remove the fragrance but my sister told me I smelled good after getting in the car after I put it on so there is that. I wear this everyday, including on my face, under makeup.
I love the hydro boost collection. Bought this for my Jamaican Vacation because yes black people need to use sunscreen too. It glides on and there is not ashy gray cast like most other sunscreens. Not sticky or tacky, you can't feel it on the skin. Ok scent, not noticeable.
I will say this is the best sunscreen from neutrogena I've ever used and one of the best sunscreens I've ever used, even in comparison to the more expensive ones that cost 3X amount. Very sheer, hydrating, not oily, not greasy, HOWEVER, the fragrance is a BIG turn-off. It smells way too flowery to me, and as a dude I don't really like that. At the same time, fragrance is a very common irritant to people, yet I managed perfectly fine despite me having to put on some cologne to mask the strong scent. I would buy this sunscreen for now and always IF it did not have fragrance, dyes, or any unnecessary ingredients. In my opinion, vanity from sunscreen should come from its feel and look on the skin rather than the way the sunscreen looks itself. Y'all need to make a fragrance-free version like the hydro boost gel cream extra-dry skin.
I have used this sunscreen for a couple of years and am very pleased. It goes on easily and absorbs into skin without white residue. Also not as greasy as other brands and has a good not overwhelming smell.
