I really like this serum. I have no idea what everyone is talking about…it smells like absolutely nothing to me. I use it nightly with a retinol. It seems to agree with my skin and I’ve noticed the thick blackheads disappearing.

I've been using this for just a few days and have already noticed significant improvement! I have had stubborn blackheads on my nose for years that would not go away with any other treatments. Other reviewers are majorly exaggerating the smell; it doesn't smell great but it is maybe a 2.5 or 3 out of 10 on the bad smells scale. The smell also goes away very quickly after application.

Honestly, I think people are being a little too dramatic about the “smell.” It’s a product for your face that specifically targets pesky blackheads. It’s going to smell and it doesn’t smell that atrocious. Lay off, Karen’s. Anyways, this product works wonders! I’ve been using it 2x a day for the last 48-hours and I’ve already noticed a huge difference on my nose. Finally, my nose will not look like the crater pool of black holes anymore.

I love this product! While the smell is definitely pretty atrocious and can be a big turn off (and took me aback so much the first time I used it that I almost gagged and refused to ever step foot near it again), I will gladly put up with it any day because the serum works so well for my skin and actually does clear up my blackheads within a few uses. I know everyone’s skin is different, but I haven’t found any other product that is as effective at eliminating my blackheads as this serum. It doesn’t dry my skin out too bad and is easy to apply. Plus, it dries very quickly so the smell doesn’t last long! I will continue buying it!

Yes the smell isn’t all that nice to be honest. First time I’ve put it on it kind of pushed me back a little. But I don’t care about that. The results are fantastic and I’ve used it only 3 times so far. My pores in my T zone and some blackheads on my cheeks have gone so much smaller. I’ll keep on using and hopefully it can make my skin just perfect.

I have used other spot treatments without issue, and this one causes burning and redness to my skin where it is applied. It also smells pretty bad. Wouldn't recommend for sensitive skin. It's a decent sized tube for the price though!

I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I can see SUCH a difference!! I have HUGE pores on my nose and they look like blackheads. I've scrubbed, squeezed, prayed and they would never get any better - luckily, nothing else happened (I've had cystic acne and bad acne). I HATE wearing make up and I am sure no one else really noticed them, but that is all I saw in the mirror. While I still have some, the biggest ones are fading away!! I burst into tears when I saw this :) I have been putting it on 3x a day and have had no issue with drying at all. Thank you Neutrogena!!
