This shampoo and conditioner have actually made my hair softer and lighter. But it still looks frizzy. It’s an improvement, however I have slowly but surely seen an increase in hair shedding. I can not risk losing hair, so I will have to discontinue using these two products. Bottle design is faulty, it will leak all over the place if it’s even slightly open, which will happen, it will not close all the way because the bottle is again faulty.

I had great expectations for these products. I use high quality hair products. My hair was like straw after using this shampoo and conditioner No more experimenting for me. I'll stick with my tried and true products. I also did not like the scent, but that wasn't the deal breaker.

My daughter has been using this shampoo with humectress conditioner. After months of using it, she received two new bottles and she immediately got a rash right after the first new bottle use. She wasn't sure what caused it, used it again and the same thing happened. She switched to something else and the rash stopped. New formulation?

I cannot recommend this product enough. Bought it truly on a whim after seeing it on sale and reading some good reviews on it. As a previous hair stylist, I seriously fried my hair from coloring it nearly every color in the book and rebleaching it back blonde. It was brittle, dry, frizzy, matted up from how dry it was, and had no life in it. This stuff seriously has saved my hair, no exaggeration. In a matter of a couple of weeks, my hair has gotten so many compliments on how healthy it looks and how soft it is. I have tried every professional and drug store brand for my hair and every treatment, every TikTok "hack" and nothing has helped. It may not be for everyone but if you are considering it, give it a chance!

i do not recommend this set. i was using it because i loved the smell of the shampoo, it smelled like expensive banana pudding (weird comparison but i swear that’s what it reminded me of lol) the conditioner stays in your hair forever and makes it feel greasy & cakey no matter how little you use. after a month using it i realized that it was literally making me loose hair on all the areas i had regrowth from my previous postpartum hair loss + it was destroying the ends of my hair + making my hair look terrible!!!! i just switched to something else and within first try my hair is like NEW. i would never recommend this to anyone.

In my quest to cut costs on haircare, I bought this set. I have used Amika for years, but the price is a little steep. I thought since Nexxus was a reputable brand, it should work well. I was very wrong. I have a lot of fine hair that gets oily at the scalp and very dry at the ends. It's virgin hair with no chemical or heat damage. This shampoo and conditioner set helped with none of my concerns. It made it worse. The morning after washing my hair (double washing, might I add), it was already looking dirty. My scalp was also itchy and flaky (an ailment that is usually controlled by good products). The ends felt like straw. No amount of It's a 10 or hair oil could fix it. My hair was constantly tangled and gross looking. Save your money and don't buy this. I've learned my lesson and will not be cheaping out on haircare anymore. I ended up spending $30 on this set only to spend $90 two weeks later on an Amika set that won't ruin my hair. Take it from me and stay loyal to whatever brand works. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Cheaping out on haircare is NOT worth it. Don't use this stuff.

I love this shampoo and conditioner so much. But guys, can you please make your dispenser bottles easier to open? There is literally a Youtube video showing how to unlock the dispenser head on your large dispenser bottles with a screwdriver because some of them are so dang hard to open. I was in the shower twisting that thing for like ten minutes before I gave up. I don't want to quit using your product, but I shouldn't have to keep a spare screwdriver in my bathroom. Thanks!

This shampoo and conditioner is absolutely the worst line from Nexxus. My hair shedded tremendously and my scalp burned until I washed my hair with a different brand of shampoo. My entire family used this shampoo and conditioner and we’ve all had dry flaky scalp which somehow was also greasy. I’ll never purchase this line from Nexxus again.
