Q: Will a standard loaf pan for bread fit in the oven or is it too short?

submitted by Cooker - 7 months ago
  • A: The clearance inside of the unit is approximately 3 inches. Therefore, a standard loaf pan would be too large.

I purchased the Ninja Foodi thinking it would be perfect to have an all in one type of oven, but that was a mistake. I had my Ninja Foodi for just a little over a year and it stopped working. Prior to this I had a Black and Decker and that lasted me 10 plus years and was still working well when I purchased the Ninja Foodi. It is not worth the money you pay. I have other Ninja products and have never been disappointed until this one.

This oven works great! I find it very useful that it flips up out of the way to open up counter space. It's a great alternative to heating up the full size oven. I would definitely buy it again.

It's amazing what motivates you: I wanted to eat healthier, make sheet meals but it's just for me. That's part of why I got this (that, and I absolutely love my Ninja pressure cooker, so I figured I'd love this, too). So far I'm very happy with it. Easy to clean, heats up quick, cooks well, and especially love how I can rotate it up and out of the way and get some counter space back. Very happy!

Great product but messy

We purchased our Foodi oven over a year ago now, and it is, overall, a great product. As an air fryer it is wonderful. Excellent for baking and makes the best pizza we've ever had. We can make wonderful meals in this oven, the non-stick trays and racks are great. However, there is one problem to be aware of: cooking any meal that includes meats - chicken, roasts, steaks, pork chops - the meal will be great, but the oils and grease that spatters on the inside runs down the walls into the lower interior, out through the hinge areas of the large "foot" in the back and then onto the counter, caused us to stop using it for that purpose. Anything else, no problem, but be aware that it can be messy, and that there is no grease tray in the bottom. We love this oven for the things it does well, but we also wonder if the folks that design these actually try using them before offering the products to the public.

Worked pretty well for 9 months

Worked pretty well for the first 9 months. Agree with the reviewers that mention cleaning difficulty. I did one basket of wings one time months ago, and there's still oil leaking out when it's flipped up. The biggest issue is it no longer heats at all. It just clicks and the screen flashes. Eventually the fan turns on to blow around the room temperature air, but that doesn't make my breakfast burrito hot and crispy. I'm certainly not going to buy one of these every 9 months.

Love My Ninja Flip Air Fryer

This is my second Ninja Flip Air Fryer. I wanted a newer model that was larger. We use this almost everyday. I love how much food I can cook in it for my family at one time. I wouldn't want any other kind than this flip one because of its size & that it flips up to take up less space. I don't have alot of counter space, so the fact that this flips up makes it perfect for us. Love how it cooks.

This is our second flip. Loved the first one and wanted an upgrade so we now have the 13 in 1. I have a new stove and have not used the oven 1 time because I use Flip for everything. I love the sear plate, makes Perfect chicken. The difference in my first 8 in 1 and this one is you cannot open the back to clean. Makes it difficult to get in there to clean it. Otherwise I love love love it!

I love how it folds up to store not taking that much counter space. The only complaint I have is that it had some dings on the outside of the ninja. Not due to shipping.

Impossible to clean.

I have had this oven for 6 months. If you cook meat in the oven, the fan gets dirty. You can only clean the side of the wall where the fan is, no way to clean behind it. It holds smells and is never fully clean. When turned up it leaks. I only cooked two chicken breast and it seems to have ruined the oven.

My husband surprised me worth this oven as a love gift. I am so in love with it...and him. Lol. We use it often and tonight I just made fresh French fries in it and they came out great! Why buy frozen when u can quickly and easily make fresh? This little jewel can do so much it replaces other appliances. My 4 slice toaster is in storage now that I can toast up to 9 slices at a time in the Ninja 13 In One Dual Heat Counter Top Air Fryer. It will be great this summer to do most of my cooking in it since we live outside Phoenix and it gets HOT here. No hot oven to turn on or standing over a hot stove. I also love the fold up feature so it doesn't take up much counter space. I'm in heaven!!!!

I actually strongly dislike this oven.. it has to be pretty significant for me to take the time to write a review. I got this last Christmas from my husband I wanted more counter space ..... with less oven space you cannot put a family (of 4) sized meal in it. If you stack food (like potatoes, broccoli etc.) it will burn on top because it's too close to the burners. The grates and "sear plate" get sticky? Maybe it's the non stick coating but I cannot clean it no matter what I try .. and the sear plate is meant to be cooked on per its direction but it gets gross fast. We close the door gently (it's not a soft close mechanism) but if it slips once the fans inside won't stop buzzing even when powered off. Lastly ..... when you tilt the Ninja up (the whole point of this oven for counter space) any small grease or crumbs in it leak down and cover your counter it's gross .. and we never had a fruit fly issue until this.

It Preheats Fast

5 out of 5 stars

MDC22 - 3 months ago
I like that it preheats fast. What I don’t like is that I cannot set anything on top of it when it’s in use. My old toaster oven came with a bamboo cutting board that always sat on top with my baking trays. I’m only going to fold the oven upright if I need countertop space. So the ability to put sear pan and air basket on top of the oven instead of finding storage for it would have been nice.
