Q: Can you use Ninja Foodi 18oz XL smoothie bowl maker in any model Ninja foodi power blender that has bowl maker available

submitted by Nee - 1 year ago
  • A: Ninja containers and blades do not fit on other blender or processor units at this time. In most cases, our blade systems and bases are unique to each of our blenders which is why the Jars are not interchangeable. To ensure you are purchasing the correct accessory for your system please reach out to our Product Specialist at 1-866-826-6941, Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.-9 p.m. ET | Sat. 9 a.m.-6 p.m. ET.

  • A: YES!! But not any model, only certain ones. If your current blender uses the small smoothie bowl maker then it will also work with the XL one. I bought the XL as a replacement part on Ninja website.

Perfect all in one blender

I bought this a week ago because my old one ((Ninja Professional) died. Upgraded to this Ultimate blender but disappointed because the box stated 1600 watts power only to find out its just 1200 watts. I think that's a misrepresentation of the product. Nonetheless, it's still a great blender.

RMS watts and Peak watts are not the same!

_Ali_ · a year ago It is not 1600W Just a quick comment about the claim that "It is not 1600 watts". RMS watts and PEAK watts are two different concepts. PEAK watts refers to a maximum output that is not sustained vs RMS (Root Mean Square watts) refers to the average wattage over time. If you are referring to the 1200 watts, that is probably the RMS wattage vs the higher 1600 watts at PEAK wattage.

After burning up my old blender making nut butter last month, we needed a new one. I didn't like our food processor either, as it was so heavy, had lots of parts, and always left some larger pieces when making cauliflower rice -- not that good for being a "good one." Found this combo and it's just the ticket! Makes the most perfect cauli-rice in seconds! Fabulous smoothies! Would prefer glass for the containers, as there are already some scratches in the plastic from making hazelnut butter. But glass seems to be gone from most brands. Nut butters aren't quite as silky as I'd like, but that will just take more practice. LOUD, but most of these are. Overall, we are very happy with it!

Great system for blending

4 out of 5 stars
Slatka - 2 months ago
This system does a lot of great things. The blades are SHARP. I cut myself pretty good when I first handled it. It is really good at finely blending stuff like cashews to make a smooth sauce. The biggest flaw is there is no spiralize option. I guess I thought that is what there is a "grater" and "slicer," blades, buy they are choppy pieces, not into long noodles.

It was not available in Canada,so I told my husband to bring it from USA.It is not 1600 watt but 1200 watt. The pitcher is deep so for making dough,it is deep and you have to use your hands to deeply clean it,Earlier I had ninja intelli sense system,It looks beautiful than that but functionally ninja was better. It’s base got stuck on counter that motor part seperaes from stronger suction base.I have all ninja shark gadgets at my home. This has not impressed me as it says ultimate.

3 weeks already broke

The only reason why I purchased this was for the smoothie bowl option. I've had this product for only 3 weeks and the double xl attachment bowl broke. The first time I used the sambazon frozen Acai, it cracked. I had no issue with any other frozen fruit. Oh the irony. I have a few other blenders and when I first took it out the box, I thought it looked extremely fragile. I've had my other blenders for 7 years and no issues. I'll stick to the older models going forward

I love how much this game blender does! Shreds, grates, blends, extracts. And more! So far everything I've thrown at this blender it's done great! Was thinking of getting a Vitamix but this is cheaper than the cheapest Vitamix & does way more.

I could not resist - Great blender

When it comes to the newest Ninja blenders I can never resist. Having an all-in-one SS401 with the shredding/grating/slicing disc was too much a temptation, although I have the SS351 system. But that one will find a new family really quick. The good thing is that some of my older single serve containers work with this one as well, sop there is no waste. I love these machines!

I love love love this blender system. It’s so powerful, easy to use and it has so many accessories and amazing ability to crush, dice, shred, blend or mix anything ! I love how the base has the rubber suction attachments to help keep it secure and not shake like crazy. It’s just so great and helps me in the kitchen in so many ways plus it helps cut down on prep time.

This ninja does its job but I ordered this for dough and it doesn’t do that job perfectly. The dough blades are small and the jar is pretty big for it so I didn’t like it at all and want to return this.

I had an much older version of the ninja blender and loved it, used it a lot over the years. We saw this one on sale and liked the new food processor option. So we finally decided to upgrade and pass the old model off to my mom. This new one is amazing, the food processor attachment we've used atleast 30 times and we've only owned it for about a month. You can grate an entire block of cheese in under a minute. The smoothie cup we use daily now, much larger then the older models. The special smoothie bowl cup, it's got the twister on the top that you crank, works great for making your own peanut butters. The chop setting on the blender cup is amazing as well, toss some tomato, onion, jalapeno and cilantro in, select chop and you've got instant salsa in under a minute. I've ran everything through the dishwasher as well with no issues.

My father-in-law suffered a stroke about a month ago and needed to be on a puréed diet. After a lot of research, we decided to buy the Ninja Foodi Power Blender Ultimate System. It’s pretty much perfect to purée his food to the proper consistency, and it makes great smoothies too! The only con so far is that they don’t make smaller smoothie cups for this model.

Love my new Power Blender System. Does everything beautifully and really fast! Wish it came with a larger cup for shakes. Gave my single serve Ninja blender and an older blender to my nephew but still couldn't get rid of my Ninja spiralizer. This should have a spiralizer blade available. Amazing how fast and great this is as a food processor. I use this every day for various functions. Love how I can keep the base out without having to lug out different various blenders and glad the large part is plastic.
