A: Yes you can, except when pressure cooking. The lid will not open until all pressure is released.

A: The timing to make a pot of beans depends on the beans you are cooking. Some beans like Navy Beans could take upto 35 minutes. Also if the beans are soaked before hand the cook time could be as low as 5 minutes.

It constantly stops because it doesn't register that the bowl is there. So I have to wiggle the whole machine to get it to register the bowl again. I can't leave the room while using it because it does this constantly. And it beeps every time it happens. I have the bigger foodi and love it. But this thing absolutely sucks.

I’ve been really struggling with depression lately, and feeding myself has felt like such a daunting task. This machine has helped me tremendously. I’ve been using the air fryer almost every day. Breakfast? Throw some high protein French toast sticks in. Lunch? Some salmon and crispy broccoli florets. Dinner? Chicken legs and sweet potato tots. The dishes don’t pile up. The time is so fast. And the results are delicious and healthy.

I use this appliance everyday! I reheat food using the air fry function. I pressure cook potatoes, rice, chicken etc. This ninja is great because you can pressure cook chicken or ribs and then air fry them. Meat comes out so tender with a nice crisp to the surface.

I was a loyal ninja customer for years because I've been more than satisfied with their products. Unfortunately I attempted to use the unit in pressure cooking mode. Upon doing so, the unit proceeded to expell steam and hot liquid, breaking the unit and covering my kitchen. The unit was infact sealed and contents were under the fill line. So far, it's taken me 2 days and 4 attempts to reach anyone in customer service and now they're saying it will be another 24-48 hours to call me back to assist me. I'm so disappointed that a brand I've been loyal too has made it beyond difficult for a resolution.
