I've had the foodi about 1 1/2 weeks and have used it almost every night. There's no longer the problem of forgetting to thaw things out for dinner because thawing in the pressure cooker is a snap. The "fried" chicken is fantastic and the steaks were to die for. I really love the foodi and will probably be buying my daughter one for Christmas.
Love my Ninja Foodi 6.5-qt. I've been trying all kinds of recipes in it and just love that I can cook so many different things in one pot verses cooking on the stove with a bunch of kettles. I am so happy that I bought this! Looking forward to buying some of the other units you have
I used to hate doing groceries and cooking. So..Covid self quarantine happened and Ninja was bought. My kids told me: “Mom, it took a Pandemic for you to start cooking”. Later on they started getting overwhelmed with so much food cooked and said: “Mom, stop making Buffet every day. We can’t eat all that food” LOL LOL Go figure. Anyways, the best investment ever!!! Thank you Ninja and also HUGE thank you to all people who wrote the recipes. Without them I would’ve been sooo lost
I bought this shortly after our shelter-in-place order started, and I am SO glad I did!!! I use it practically every day for one thing or another. Last night I cooked pasta in it, added my sauce, topped it with shredded cheese, and baked it - all in one pot and all done in about 20 minutes! This morning I made the easiest-peeling soft-boiled eggs for breakfast in a matter of minutes! This thing is like how the iPod was for me when I first got one: I had no interest in it until I got one, then marveled at how I lived without one for so long!
I knew I wanted this Foodi. But to know how to cook in it was like bitting nails. First time I cooked fries. That was easy enough. Then I would Google a food. Okay made that. Then started reading post about recipes. Still have a lot more to learn. I'm so glad I got this Ninja Foodi.
