Whether you like your smoothies extra green or more on the fruity side, you'll love to mix them up with the Ninja Professional Blender with NutriNinja Cups. This blender lets you whip up your favorite smoothie with the single-serve option or blend up frozen drinks for your party guests. The tumblers, lids and pitcher are all dishwasher safe, making cleanup a breeze.
This is a great blender. It is an even better ice crusher.
The power of the motor is excellent and it has no problem chopping everything up.
I would have given it 5 stars but the bearing for the blade is in-cased in plastic and the bottom of the pitcher is has no removable parts.
When the bearing goes out, you need a new pitcher.
But it is well sealed and should last a long time.
We really like this thing.
I am very happy with the Ninja Professional Blender. The pitcher is large and the blender works great! I really love the cups that came with it fo making an individual serving right in the cup. It is a little taller than I expected, so it does not fit under my cabinet with the pitcher on it, but that is not a deal breaker.
I was really disappointed with this blender overall. I make 1-2 smoothies a day and lots of soups and sauces, and the large attachment doesnt actually "blend." I've left it on for 2 minutes at a time to try to break down spinach, dates, soaked cashews and more...and the end result is still chunky. The small, single serve attachment does work very well and gives you a much smoother consistency...but is too small for the serving sizes I make. I will be returning this blender and replacing it.
This is my third Ninja Professional in 8 years. They don't last very long, but they have always been so effective in making rich, thick, creamy smoothies that the $100.00 cost was worth it...not this one. I read some of the negative reviews, but decided to buy this one because of my experience with the Ninjas. Terrible Mistake!! It did exactly what the negative reviewers said it would do - spatters of yogurt, protein powder, pieces of fruit, all thrown against the sides and cover of the plastic pitcher. The "smoothie" it made was about half of the ingredients I put in the pitcher, and it wasn't' smooth. I did not use the cup because the directions said the cup was only for the extraction of juices, not for making smoothies. I returned it; received a $100.00 refund and bought a relatively small $24.99 Hamilton Beach blender with a glass pitcher and no cups. It works better than any of the Ninjas I've ever had - it pulls the ingredients down instead of slinging them around so ingredients aren't wasted; the smoothie is well blended; and there is nothing stuck to the pitcher or top of the blender. I do not recommend this Ninja, but if you are making a lot of smoothies, try the Hamilton Beach from Target.
