submitted byLouise - 11 months agoA: I don’t want to ruffle an feathers with my response, especially since a ninja expert responded, but I did a little research into if you could use the ninja sizzle as a hibachi and I have seen 3 videos now posted by ninja itself using this for hibachi. I don’t believe they would post those videos advertising that if you couldn’t use it for that purpose. But I am not an expert just a curious person who is doing some research! If you are curious yourself I saw the videos on tik tok, Instagram, and Facebook.

A: The grill plate and griddle plate are not dishwasher safe. For cleaning, allow them to soak in warm, soapy water if food residue is stuck, then wash by hand. Only the splatter lid is dishwasher safe.

This is a great small grill. Our rv is small,xo we appreciate the smaller size & that we don't to take propane or charcoal. We have used it inside and outside to cook burgers. It is not really smokeless. When cooking meat inside, we set it on the stove and turned on the vent hood. We have also used it for eggs, sausage & pancakes.
Love it but skillet plates need to be replaced

Love this so much that I use it every day. Perfect for breakfast or dinner. I love that the plates are removable for cleaning. The only issue I have is that the plates wear easily. We wash with a sponge and dish soap and the non stick comes off very quickly. We own two of these skillet machines due to the small size. We have been through 5 replacement plates so far. We have replaced them every few months. Also, they are not always in stock. It does get costly replacing them. Hopefully ninja comes out with a better plate.

I just bought this and have used it a half dozen times and I just love it! Don’t like to cook outside for lots of reasons. It is a convenient size to sit on the counter in my RV. It is very easy to use essentially just plug it in. It is also very easy to clean. Easy to change from griddle to grill. It does give off a little smoke but keep my outside fan on when using. Food tastes much like I cooked outside ona barbecue.

I love it. I had a different brand griddler and thought since I own many ninja products to give this one a try. I made Smash burgers with onions and mushrooms and I was not disappointed. It is super easy to use and clean. I highly recommend.

The worst. I had confidence in it as I have other Ninja products. Never heats up to the temp indicated in the dial. States to preheat 7 minutes - which may bring it up to just above rm temp. After two weeks and multiple attempts to have success and like the product, it has been retired and won’t be replaced. Absolute disappointment. I know Ninja can do better. This is an abject failure.

I’ve had my griddle/grill for a couple of weeks and have used it for grilling steaks, poppers, sausage, fried eggs… I love it!! Yes, it smokes just a little but does not smell up my house. Clean up is quick & easy, product is strong & sturdy. Great investment & I have no regrets. Shipping was speedy also!! I keep it on my kitchen island…always clean & ready to use!

Not really smokeless, heavy, grill should be made so all you have to do is flip it! Drip trays are very deep! The grill itself works great!
