Nintendo Switch OLED Model - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition

Looks great in person and the OLED is great. Unfortunately, the left joycon is having issues. The left joystick sound like the springs are about to pop on it and it is loose in the rail. Will have to return and hopefully get a fix as Nintendo can not confirm that I will get a matching joycon back. I mean what a joke! You buy the special edition for the look of it and they are going to possibly send me back a different joycon for this Zelda Special edition switch? Lol

The design as a whole looks absolutely amazing for the set. As always, the console is very easy to setup and start playing right away. The reason why I'm giving it a 4 star is because there is a minor flaw with the screen when playing handheld. When you turn down the brightness to a certain percentage, there is a green tint that can be clearly visible from both sides of the screen (mainly the left side, but in my case it was both.) It didn't bother me too much, but it's better to be safe than sorry, so I had to request a refund and buy another. So far, I have no green tint that's visible on my second one.

Just bought this, it's very good. OLED screen works like a charm! If you like Zelda you should buy. Do with it came with the game, but that's okay!

The Zelda game is not included. The product box prominently says "Game Not Included". I don't see this stated anywhere on the Target page for this product. I haven't bought a Nintendo product in years, I just assumed they marketed it the same way, where you get a discount if you buy the product plus game. Going to return this.

I would say this is a skin not worth it for the price

It’s a super cool design in such a slick and powerful device that delivers the smoothest and cleanest gameplay for most handheld players and shows such an immersive and same positive experience as the original switch. 10/10 I just started getting into Zelda before this switch came out and I can’t wait to play tears of the kingdom with this! The only flaw, your gonna wanna buy an micro sd card, although this device is capable of 64gb compared to the original switch at 32gb, it wouldn’t hurt to add a bit more storage for larger titles you wish to download.

The system looks great and I definitely would recommend it. My only issue is that my joy cons are having connectivity issues and now the right stick feels "weird" and makes a sound while moving it after only two days of use. It's kind of frustrating it didn't come with a game considering the price increase, not to mention the oddly small 64 GB hard drive.

Love the design and how big the screen is. Compared to the original switch, this is chefs kiss.

beautiful console. the colors are nice and vibrant. I always like buying zelda themed consoles and this was no exception. with that being said, this is my first switch ever and only held off from buying one all this time waiting for a Zelda edition such as this one. as a whole is not bad and is a great item to display in my living room. but as a console, the buttons on the joy-cons feel meh compared to the wii-u and earlier console controllers. the sound is only ok… so I recommend using a good pair of headphones. I use the beats fit pro and there is a noticeable improvement. on the TV I use the surround system so that works best. it is only 720 on the console and 1080 on the tv but that doesn’t really bother me as much. the switch UI could definitely be improved. but who knows when nintendo will ever do that. so annoying that not even an older Zelda game was included with this console as we wait for the actual ZTotK to be released weeks later. or even the UI being Zelda Themed would have been awesome… but no.. it is the normal UI. or maybe a SDXC of at least 128gb, preferably 256 or larger with the zelda logo… but no. packaging was very minimalistic. seems that is the new trend. at least it came with all the cables, including hdmi. compared to the previous switch model, the kickstand is less prone to breaking but I tend to pull the actual frame more often than the kickstand whenever I try to stand it. the screen is very reflective and a fingerprint magnet. I’ll have to buy an anti-reflective screen protector for it just for that. bought several games just to be able to play it but maybe I outgrew gaming because I felt really underwhelmed by them. love the console design. hate it didn’t come with any zelda game. mediocre hardware. good enough for collecting but still feels overpriced for what it is, with or without the zelda themed design. I used to love how you bought a game and console and you owned it without worry it will stop working, so I’ll get physical copies for as long as possible and avoid the fate of the old eshop for my other consoles. would I recommend this particular switch? only if you are a collector or is your first switch and want to keep it for a long time.

It’s a great console. It’s a nice special edition for Zelda. But docking it two stars because it doesn’t include the game. What happened to these special editions of consoles coming with the game they are a special edition of? It’s a nicer screen and nice upgrade over the original switch, but it’s such an underpowered console compared to competitors. Imagine how amazing games like this would be on a Series X or PS5.

Im very happy with my new Tears of the Kingdom Switch. It has a beautiful design on it. I’m glad I pre ordered this switch, as it’s sold out in every store where I live.

I finally decided to upgrade to the OLED when I saw that this was coming out and it was an amazing choice. The subtle improvements over the original switch can’t be overstated. The differences may not sound like much, but they improve the playing experience on the switch many times over. Additionally, this TOTK special addition is gorgeous. I think my favorite part is the textured spiral designs on the back of the switch. They make holding it that much more ergonomic. The switch is six years old & with very little signs of a “pro” model coming out this is the upgrade to make. If you’re thinking about making the jump do it!

I bought this amazing Zelda Edition for my husband, birthday gift! He absolutely loved it!

It is so pretty! It feels the hardware is the money. They joy cons have a nice feel to them compared to regular ones. I love the design! The OLED screen is beautiful compared to my 2017 Switch. I desired to have a gorgeous special edition, and this did not disappoint me! I just wish I had the Tears of the Kingdom game today, too.

Haven't opened it yet (waiting for TOTK release) but it looks fantastic and I'm so excited to use it to play TOTK! Glad I could snag one
