Q: I bought this rug in black awhile back and I love it, but noticed it has stained my hardwood floors. I rent - how can I remove the stains? Any tips on preventing future staining? Is there a padding that's best recommended?

This rug is possibly the worst rug and most difficult rug I have ever had. It won’t lay flat, doesn’t spot clean, and the quality of it is awful. It frayed almost instantly and now just is a jumbled up mess that can’t be used. I have another rug, same fabric that I purchased from a different store and have followed all directions with both and the other one looks amazing and this one is awful. Would not recommend.

I ordered the black color and the black has faded almost completely off after only one month. It’s an outdoor rug. I didn’t think the rain and sun would destroy it so quickly. The reason I gave two stars is because the quality of the rug itself seems decent. But if you want something that will stay looking nice, do NOT go with the black! I just think it’s absurd that this was over $100! Sooo not worth it. I’m furious because I feel ripped off. The rug looks terrible on my balcony and I spent so much on it.

I love this rug. It's not too thick and looks great in my bathroom. It did take awhile for the rug to lie flat; however, after having it for several months, it is perfectly flat and soft. Now it almost feels like a cotton braided rug. I plan to buy a second one as soon as it becomes available in my area.

I first bought a 3' round in black. Since the porch floor is a solid color I love the way it brings out the same color through the design openings. I ordered a second one in a 5' round. I would highly recommend this rug. It's thickness is low enough that it is "not" a tripping hazard.

I love the design & color of this rug. Unfortunately it was already coming apart when it arrived. This rug will not hold up in a heavy traffic area IMO. Maybe it would work in a guest bedroom. Very cute rug, looked great in my space, just wish it was made sturdier. I had to return it. The plus side is easy returns with Target.

Will this ever lay flat? I don’t know. I’ll give it a week and see how it looks. Definitely get what you pay for ... this is my first jute rug experience and I’m not impressed so far. I would imagine more expensive ones may be thicker and lay nicer. This looks like it’s all messed up.... hopefully it flattens out otherwise I’m returning this piece of garbage lol

The best way to reduce creases/wrinkles or to help your rug lay flat is to back rolling/ reverse rolling the rug (leave it back rolled for 48-72 hours) place heavy furniture on rug while back rolled/ reverse rolled to keep it from unraveling.
