These blackout curtains were purchased to replace a similar item from Target bought way back in 2012. The reason for new curtains was to brighten a small room where navy blue curtains had become "too much." This speaks of the durability of this style. The new ones are outstanding and a better length than their too-long counterparts. The bonus is that they don't LOOK like blackout panels. They appear to just be a lighter fabric curtain. I encourage anyone with a guest or media room to invest in blackout panels of this ilk. Being able to control the light entering windows from the exterior is key to your guests and YOUR happiness when you least expect it.

I like the fabric. It’s not what I was expecting as it didn’t look like the photo but I wasn’t disappointed with it at all. It does a great job blocking the sunlight which I really appreciate when I have a migraine. When they are open they don’t look like blackout curtains to me at all, which I think is nice.

I bought the green one. Wanted to bring the calm nature outdoors so the green leaf design was perfect and needed blackout and thermal insulation for old wood framed windows. I haven’t hung them up but it was exactly what I was looking for after looking at 200 curtains online. Lol. Someone mentioned they didn’t like the burlap layer where the prints are printed on but it’s perfect for me, brings in a natural material type of element that I want for a calm bedroom that I want to relax in every night. The back is lined with white polyester material. I’m gonna wash them in gentle cycle and dry in low and then hang them. We have wood floors and a new king size dark grey platform bed with new white soft thick textured walls. Should make for a modern traditional mix and calm (I used to be an architectural and interior design student. Teee hee. Now a nurse). Happy decorating!

The texture on the front of the drapes is rough and the pattern looks like it was stamped on. The picture on the website makes them look elegant, but not in person. Due to the stiffness of the drape, they do not hang neatly when opened. They do block out the light.
