Bought this as a Christmas present for my son. He loves collecting rocks and I thought it would be something fun for him to do with his collection. He was excited when he opened it. However, his excitement took a nosedive when we read through the instructions and realized it needs to run continuousl...  see moreof Jso1974's review

I had one of these when I was about 10 and I loved it, so when I was trying to find a unique gift for my daughters 8th birthday I got this. It's perfect since she's learning about rocks in 2nd grade. We're almost done with our first batch and she can't wait to see the final product. She gets excited...  see moreof Sara's review

Cheaply made ! Tumbler is plastic and leaks even though there is an o-ring. My Granddaughter was terribly disappointed because she loves Geology. Sad that they can make and sell an item like this ! Do not buy !  see moreof What's review

Read reviews prior to purchasing. Many bad reviews but I purchased anyway because my 6 yr old asked Santa for one. Followed directions exactly as written-barrel leaks. Also-company only provides enough grit for half of the rocks provided. Poor design! Will be returned!  see moreof Jill's review

As previously noted, the barrel leaks with the O-ring. I called the customer service number and left a message, but they have not returned my call. The barrel is a thin plastic, nothing like the thick one with a large elastic band that I recall from decades ago.  see moreof GJ's review

I bought this rock tumbler to make tumbled glass. I'd read reviews saying you could use a rock tumbler for glass too. The problem is that the lid doesn't fit tightly, and the water inside ends of leaking out of the barrel. I followed all the directions for the lid, but it still leaks, so I'm not abl...  see moreof just me's review
