I never write reviews but I feel I should warn anybody thinking of buying this. After receiving the chair and sitting in it for some time, I am baffled by the positive reviews. I am 5'7" and my feet don't touch the ground unless I use a pillow in the chair. My head/shoulders are nowhere close to having any chair to lean back on. Even with a pillow the thing is extremely uncomfortable. The armrests are very low and you can't even reach them. The cushion is way too firm. The only pros are that it is attractive and was easy to put together. But this thing is getting returned.
Great chair!! Highly recommend! It’s firm but something you’ll use and get adjusted too. It’s roomy but not too big or bulky. I personally don’t like the pillow behind me when I’m sitting on it but I like the way the pillow looks when no one is sitting on it.
With all the negative reviews I was worried that the quality of this chair would not be worth the price, however it has worked perfectly in our nursery and is wide enough for baby and me. The back support pillow is also super handy and comfortable. Fabric has been easy to spot clean and hasn’t shown signs of wear so far.
Not at all what I expected. I should have heeded the warning from other reviews but really wanted to try for myself... big mistake. As another review has mentioned the chair on the picture is not what you will receive as the company has updated their model but Target has not updated their photos. There is not a cross bar which is a bit of a bummer because more wood helps tone down the appearance of a lot of fabric- in my opinion. My rocker is very squeaky. I am in the process of discussing how to fix the issue with the manufacture. They have been very helpful which is a positive. Overall the chair isn’t that comfy, you have to be careful because it scoots back as you rock, it can be squeaky. All in all you are paying a pretty penny and you can most definitely find a rocker that is more comfortable, has a place to rest your head, is easy to rock, does not squeak. The lumbar support pillow is not as amazing as the picture shows either. A tiny little pillow that does not help support my 120lb body. Just look around so you don’t fall for the modern design. Unless that is your thing of course- having furniture that looks cool as opposed to having furniture that serves a purpose. Happy shopping!
I really wanted to love this chair... It is the perfect style for our nursery! I really wanted to try the chair before I bought it but none of the vendors I found it at had it in store. So I bit the bullet and ordered it. The back to my surprise is a little taller then I expected. I have 5'4 and could rest my head on the back without discomfort. I love the color and the fabric. It is on the firmer side but wasn't uncomfortable. The chair doesn't rock as easily as I hoped which was the main reason I decided to return it. The legs also don't come with the cross bar as shown in the picture which is pretty disappointing. Overall I don't think its a bad chair, just didn't end up being the right one for us.
I have owned our rocker for 2 years now and my husband and I agree it was money well spent. It is wide enough for myself, baby, and my two little girls to sit on each side of me. It is comfy, you can rest your head comfortably back when super tired, and the look is not baby so I feel like it can grow with the girls after baby years are done. It also looks great in our master bedroom. I can not say enough good things about this rocker.
