Works well for the cost. My only gripe is that it is as load as a jack hammer! Literally one of the loudest things I have ever experienced. Everyone in your neighborhood will know you have just made a smoothy.
I bought this for my mom who was using someone else's while on vacation and totally fell in love with it. I suggest you purchase with insurance though and target doesnt offer that at checkout sadly. but am very happy with purchase and love the mugs that come with.
Purchased 2 of these blenders. One for my home and one for my husband’s work apartment. Both units starting giving us the same problems after 2-3 months of use. Whenever the cup is attached to the unit, we are unable to start it. When we do get it to start, it only blends for a couple seconds before shutting off. I contacted customer service and they are sending us a new unit. Hopefully we have better luck. We were very happy with the blender in the first couple months. Our smoothies were excellent. They just stopped working after a short period of time.
I purchased 2 of these blenders. One for my house, and one for my husbands work apartment. They both worked great for approximately 2-3 months. Both blenders are now giving us the same problem. Once the cup is attached, the blender will not turn on, or turns on and stops working after a few seconds. I did call customer support and they were very helpful. They are sending us replacement product. Hopefully we have better luck with the new one. We have other ninja products and have had no trouble. But this one we are disappointed with.
I bought this Ninja blender 6 months ago and it worked great at first. But about a month ago I started having problems with it. Sometimes I push the "Blend" button and it works seamlessly but the majority of the time now when I hit the button it starts for a couple seconds and then stops. I have to try many, many times of unlocking the cup and restarting, unplugging, restarting again before it works and I am following all of the directions for order of ingredients. Cups are not even 3/4 full and we have cleaned it fully and still get the same results.
