Q: Why pay $149 for a NuWave Bravo air fryer when you can get the same thing by Hamilton Beach for $79?

submitted by PAG - 3 years ago
  • A: Because size matters. The $79 product you're referencing is much smaller with lower capacity.

I've owned several NuWt this ave products. For quick meals, I use my Brio. It works very well. But this post speaks to the strengths of my Bravo XL. Sometimes, I don't want to heat up my house using my big oven when it is just me. I can easily bake a pizza, or a half-chicken, or whatever. I usually lay down some aluminum foil at the bottom, so the clean-up is easy. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this a year ago and love it! Use it everyday. The only downer- when I cleaned the front with aluminum cleaner the labels began to wipe off so I can’t clean it like that. I have cooked almost every lunch and dinner in it since I got it.

Bought it for a friend. Very poor design and certainly not User Friendly. The buttons often do nothing and the Manual sent with it is ridiculous! It has no Table of Contents or Index. You can only go with Trial & Error! Not Fun!

I bought this oven about a year ago. I never use my full size oven because I now do everything in this oven that I used the full size for with excellent results. I am getting older and forgetful. This oven has probably saved my life more than once since it cuts off when the cooktime expires. Thank you NuWave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven does it all! I am able to air fry, bake, grill, whichever I choose all in one machine. Since owning this, I have rarely used my oven. I love the probe that is included with it, makes cooking meat so much easier, no more guessing.

Bought it about 3 years ago. Not sure how I managed without it and don't know how I could manage without it now. I use it daily. Hash brown patties/tots for breakfast. Low and slow steak for reverse sear. Amazing pizza oven. etc, etc. Love it. I only use my regular oven for large roasts. 20lb turkey @ 5 hrs cooking time for example.

So far so good. It does a lot of things and it’s easy to make an entire meal using it at once. But it takes some getting used to. It’s not very intuitive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the NUWAVE Bravo iQ360 Air Fryer - Grill Convection Oven about a month ago and I am so glad I did. It makes cooking so much easier. I really like that it does not heat up my whole kitchen like our stove does. I used the NUWAVE Bravo iQ360 Air Fryer - Grill Covection Oven to make grill some steaks and I was very impressed with how well they turned out. My wife didn't believe that I made them in the NUWAVE Bravo iQ360 Air Fryer - Grill Convection Oven. She took it as a challenge and decided to cook steaks the next time. She refuses to cook steaks because she says it is hit or miss when she does. She hates to ruin a good steak so her wanting to cook a steak came as a big surprise. I am happy to report that she made some great steaks on the grill with the NUWAVE Bravo iQ360 Air Fryer - Grill Convection Oven. Since she has been trying so many new things in it and everything turns out so good. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to cook or anyone who doesn't because it makes cooking everything so easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic product. You can air fry, grill, bake, broil, roast, proof, dehydrate, so possibilities are endless. Has 100 presets already set for many different things. This does not give off a lot of heat and takes less time than using the over. Comes with several different racks . Easy to clean and looks great on the counter. Very highly recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I held off on writing this review because I am unsure how I feel about this smart oven. At first I thought it was going to be like my current air fryer but will some extra bells and whistles, but it does so much more than that. I gave it a 4 star because although it has VERY many settings and features, I am unsure on how to use most of them. I don't feel the manual does a very good job at explaining the features. I typically do not struggle with new appliances but this one has my wheels turning. As I am still learning this; I love that I can cook with two levels which allows me to cook a full meal, but then struggle with burning my toast every time. I am eager to use this more and get more acquainted to it as I feel I will really enjoy it with more time.

Nuwave-Bravo XL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Nuwave Bravo XL daily. As a grill or air fryer, this appliance is awesome. It cooks perfectly and quickly. It is a bit louder than I’d like but not a big issue. My kids love when I grill chicken, cook a whole chicken, or air fry drumsticks. Air frying a sweet potato is so good and cuts down the time by 20 minutes if I had used the oven. I’ve made paninis in it and the sandwiches are so juicy and delicious when done. I was surprised how large it was and it takes up a good portion of the counter space. Which makes it so I can’t store it under in a cabinet. It is worth having especially since living in Texas and the oven can heat up the house.
